Plot twist: the computer is lonely and Cam is the one selected to keep it company like a pet. It's giving him everything it thinks he could 'want' and 'need' except human interaction. It knows if it adds another human they will conspire against it and eventually escape leaving it lonely again.
If I had to take a guess how they're doing the empty world, maybe a LOT of digital editing. Getting numerous shots of everywhere, and splicing everything together so it looks like its empty.
The premise for this is really interesting and their ability to set up these entirely empty towns for their videos is amazing. However, I feel it's not the best of writing to start by saying "I don't know what happened. Am I dead? Is this some crazy experiment?" Only to then immediately follow it up with "jk I'm a programmer and I know exactly what happened because I caused this with my own AI lol"
I never really liked tiktok as a platform but watching you featuring truely creative ARG and web sereis creators on it has changed my mind and gave me a reason to give it another look. If something like this came from TikTok then I need to give it another look
The comic shop part trips me out. It's a more recent thing because of the Magic the Gathering set booster box of Kaldheim. So I know it isn't some random prop sets
I fell like it is a message about how even if your rich you can be lonley and unhappy, he can do all these things but there is no point if you can't share it with someone
This really isn't much of a mystery, the guy works in film. Thats why he can get so many places to be empty, they film there and he takes advantage. All the other shots can easily be done with framing. Edit together 30 seconds of different footage and boom you've got an easy illusion.
I don’t know what was more astounding, the fact that they were able to do this, or the fact that I saw people actually thought that this was a real thing.
Hey NightMind, you know what else was surprising when it came out with the budget it was able to work with, and featured themes revolving around artificial/digital vs real? I am Sophie. Unless the creator of this has some really cool connections to pull strings, I doubt driving the batmobile was cheap. I know it's highly speculative on my part, but who knows. Maybe it's the same guy behind it.
I was like "Ok why would I care about this?" I see it on my recommended a third time, noticed it says nightmind, and was like "Oh okay" so I clicked. I am a simple man. I see night mind and I click. Even if it's something that doesn't sound interesting at first glance
Holy Moly, this stuff is insane. Thanks for covering this. I'm actually considering signing up on TikTok just for this, something I never considered to do so far.
it would make sense if this were a bigger production company taking a stab at an ARG through tiktok. It would explain the ability to access everything and to clear the area for filming. Either way, I am impressed with the way its going and I am looking forward to seeing it progress.
I think it's very possible that this is a series created by several people worldwide? It's not hard to meet others around the world in online spaces, so I would honestly be surprised if it was only one person making all this.
The budget for this must be insane! I wonder where this story is coming from... Perhaps a passion project of someone wealthy? It's hard to imagine how a tik-tok based series could be able to lock down such massive amounts of open scenery and gain access to such expensive toys

some of the effects and writing are kinda cringe, but the editing and story and uploaders ability to somehow film every location empty (and drive a batmobile) are all super unique and cool. moreso than another very recently covered series at least... good to see 👍
Declaring something "cringe" while having an avatar of The Joker is a pretty good gag, I've gotta say.
@@Robocopnik 😂 good point, dunno how to change an old avatar on youtube tho
@@Robocopnik nothing wrong with Joker, especially with comics' version and not over-used movie ones. Effects really are trash compared to filming quality and empty locations.
@@looniemoonie5955 Agree but that particular picture of the joker is overtly cringe.
I really hope one day the creator show's how they did it all! I can't wait to see what else this story has to offer!
the setting of this is astounding. The editing and atmosphere is stellar, the creep factor is certainly there, and it even has something I wish more ARGs did: humor and a sense of whimsy almost. This is just fun, man
To be honest this arg is discount hiimmarymary but without anything that made hiimmarymary work at any level
13:38 I have a feeling someone famous or someone is rich, or it could be a mass collaboration effort. this is an seriously expensive story, something that literally deserved any film award.
When I read Kilian, the first thing that came to mind was The Kilian Experience.
IM SO HAPPY YOU FINALLY COVERED THIS OMG!! i've been watching Kilian forever!! ahhh thank you so much
This is really impressive. This dude not only drove the fucking bat mobile but also used so many different vehicles. This is incredible story telling and I applaud him for spending so much time to make a really cool arg
Tiktok is either a bunch of stolen videos and fake facts or a genuinely great account with cool content
In a sea of children faking mental illnesses and plagiarism, there’s always a little gem somewhere
Plot twist: the computer is lonely and Cam is the one selected to keep it company like a pet. It's giving him everything it thinks he could 'want' and 'need' except human interaction. It knows if it adds another human they will conspire against it and eventually escape leaving it lonely again.
The logistics of this series are just amazing. What a work of art.
This is what happens when Rich People make Alternate Reality Series and I'm 100% here for it.
If I had to take a guess how they're doing the empty world, maybe a LOT of digital editing. Getting numerous shots of everywhere, and splicing everything together so it looks like its empty.
Finally a Good Use of TikTok
The premise for this is really interesting and their ability to set up these entirely empty towns for their videos is amazing.
However, I feel it's not the best of writing to start by saying "I don't know what happened. Am I dead? Is this some crazy experiment?"
Only to then immediately follow it up with "jk I'm a programmer and I know exactly what happened because I caused this with my own AI lol"
FINALLY! an ARG that I found before Night Mind made a video about it!
I never really liked tiktok as a platform but watching you featuring truely creative ARG and web sereis creators on it has changed my mind and gave me a reason to give it another look. If something like this came from TikTok then I need to give it another look
Somebody really made use of lockdowns and/or is getting up really early to film this!
The comic shop part trips me out. It's a more recent thing because of the Magic the Gathering set booster box of Kaldheim. So I know it isn't some random prop sets
The beginning of nightmind videos sound like asmr and then the rest of the video always terrifies me. 😂
I'm glad you're covering things like this, because there is absolutely no way I will be installing tiktok on my personal smartphone.
I fell like it is a message about how even if your rich you can be lonley and unhappy, he can do all these things but there is no point if you can't share it with someone
I just got here for my daily dose of NM and there was a new video uploaded less than 10 minutes ago!
Honestly the scariest part is that they live in Rome and can get shots of tourist zones without people.
He’s in one of those online video games nobody else wants to play 😅
I...just realized why "Eternal Devotion" in Onlycans sounded familiar, ITS YOU!!!
im super interested to hear how in the world they pulled this off - even with the pandemic, the streets were never THAT empty
2:08 to skip all the extra stuff guys
I think this is the earliest I've been to a nightmind video. And as soon as I wake up how fun :D
This really isn't much of a mystery, the guy works in film. Thats why he can get so many places to be empty, they film there and he takes advantage. All the other shots can easily be done with framing. Edit together 30 seconds of different footage and boom you've got an easy illusion.
Yeah but can you explain how he got to drive the Batmobile?
This is actually the best arg Ive seen in a long time
I don’t know what was more astounding, the fact that they were able to do this, or the fact that I saw people actually thought that this was a real thing.
i like these tiktok args
its better than those ppl who fake having a ghost in their house or something lmao
You need more subs man you are my favorite person to listen to when I do anything. Please never stop you are the best
Maybe it's the same guy behind it.
basically, rich guy flexing his travel experience
Aaaand Nick is back again wuhuuuu! I love it!
I was like "Ok why would I care about this?"
I see it on my recommended a third time, noticed it says nightmind, and was like "Oh okay" so I clicked.
I am a simple man. I see night mind and I click. Even if it's something that doesn't sound interesting at first glance
Holy Moly, this stuff is insane. Thanks for covering this. I'm actually considering signing up on TikTok just for this, something I never considered to do so far.
this is definitely the coolest ARG ever created ;p;
it would make sense if this were a bigger production company taking a stab at an ARG through tiktok. It would explain the ability to access everything and to clear the area for filming. Either way, I am impressed with the way its going and I am looking forward to seeing it progress.
woah i"ve never been here this early. ready to enjoy a great video!
How the hell did this person make these videos? Really impressive
I think it's very possible that this is a series created by several people worldwide? It's not hard to meet others around the world in online spaces, so I would honestly be surprised if it was only one person making all this.
Why would you miss humans? This looks like paradise to me.
What a great use of the lockdown and shelter in place.
Night mind never ceased to amazed me.. all throught this year ever since ive discoverd this channel... it just delivered
11:45 I recognize as that a nerf gun I have, I think it was called "vortex proton"?
This whole series is just a weird flex
IVE BEEN FOLLOWING THIS SERIES FOR SO LONG😭😭😭😭 I’m so glad you’re doing this I didn’t think I would see Night Mind covering this series!!!
The budget for this must be insane! I wonder where this story is coming from... Perhaps a passion project of someone wealthy? It's hard to imagine how a tik-tok based series could be able to lock down such massive amounts of open scenery and gain access to such expensive toys
I’ve been searching for this for a year and for whatever reason I thought the username was “Tillian and William” 😭
That Laser Blaster looks like a Nerf Proton from the discontinued Vortex line.
Personally, quite a good choice for a laser gun...the vortex line had always felt like it had a plasma blaster look to it-
Already?? Truly blessed with the extra content!!!
Alternate Reality has made its way to Tiktok, huh? Exciting!
quite a few, actually. The short form and quick interaction format helps a lot. PB was a great one
So this is one of the few ARG's where I'm more interested in how they did all this, like shot with no one there, stealing the batmoblie, ect.
Tiktok is a amazing platform too start a arg. I'm following one right now that's made from children's drawings and follows a little girl, her stuffed bear, and her mother.
The Nick Nocturne TikTok series is actually very good. I'm glad they took their time to check out that app.
of course the cords were nj. ive lived here my whole life and this place is already a goddamn arg in its own
I don't think I'll be able to seriously get onto tiktok.
