Thanks Meno K., you are right when you ask with your people "where was Adonai on October 7th?" and we know where to find the answer: in Paul's declaration "the Lord will not forever abandon Israel", and this war reminds us that it was just another test sent by the God of Moses, who is a LOVING and therefore also a punishing Father, only desiring his children's growth through obedience to His protecting commandments. Children left without parental punishment and correction, have "illegitimate" parents who are not really loving them and are not interested in spending with them educational energy. Many Israelis and their evangelical sympathizers are inclined to only choose the PROMISES of divine BLESSINGS for earthly Israel in Deuteronomy 28:1-14, but they want to forget that God's THREATS of CURSES are ALL AS REAL for his chosen people (. .."stiff-necked" people, Exodus 34:9) and are written right next to the blessings, in Deuteronomy 28:15-68. Exodus 34:5-9: The LORD came down in a cloud, and stood with Moses, and proclaimed HIS NAME to him, saying: "I am the LORD God, merciful and compassionate, slow to anger, rich in lovingkindness and faithfulness, loving to a thousand generations, FORGIVING iniquity, rebellion, and sin, BUT not holding the guilty as INNOCENT, and who PUNISHES the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children of the children unto the third and fourth generation.” This means that the God of Israel forgives a child of Israël all his sins, if only they are humbly CONFESSED TO HIM in SINCERE repentance, but even after having granted us HIS forgiveness, HE cannot LEAVE US UNPUNISHED, because God is seated on a throne which bases are JUSTICE AND EQUITY ! Regarding the concept of Replacement Theology there are really two distinctly separate issues: 1) Did the new testament ekklesia replace the old testament ekklesia? 2) Is the nation of Israel elect and restored to God at the return of the Son of man as King?
