Hey Guys, DVF Automotive for another video, today i took another car from my work and this is a Peugeot 205 with the 1.1 TU engine with 55bhp, in this video i do the first test drive to see if the car runs good and if everything works properly.
Driving a legend was absolutely amazing, the best French classic you can drive on the roads today!

We never had Peugeot, but the sound of the engine with a manual and the interior takes me back. Also, that's a gorgeous interior; it drew me to watch it completely.
Such a great car to drive. It's so basic and yet so comfortable.

Khemikal just from look. The seats have no ergonomic features and a rally version doesn’t prove its comfortable and based from the loud knocks heard when he goes over bumps I can imagine much less comfortable then your saying
@@androidstationboomazoid5056 You're very mistaken. I have a 1990 Look 205 and it's very comfortable. The seats provide a perfect blend of ergonomic support and cushion, both, with durable and pliable fabric. As stated by another viewer, the 205 (in any variant) has a rigid body, with long-travel soft suspension. So light in weight makes for tremendous nimbleness/agility. I own three 405's and have driven them for decades. I recently acquired y 205 and I honestly like it in many ways better than the 405. The 205 is sooo simple and simply a pleasure to drive. No wonder the 205 was a huge success for Peugeot, from beginning of production in '83 , all the way through '98. Peugeot got it right with the 205 and 405. "Nothing Else Feels like a Peugeot". :)
The Peugeot 205 is literally my childhood. This car driven by my lovely mom brought me to elementary, middle and even some highschool. I'd recognize the sound of the engine, the doors closing and even the parking break by heart. We still have it sadly it's rusting bad under and it's in a poor state sitting outside. Probably heading to its death soon :(

I think its worth restoring - and not talking about perfect collectors retro-carshow restoring. Just patch it up, overhaul the engine, do a paintjob and drive the thing. Its alot better, more fun and less expensive than any more modern car you would get. It would still make an excellent city car, and ofcourse it will make you feel always at home, unlike some new generic souless mass produced pile of plastic and computer chips.

Nice, little, comfortable and fun to drive car. Coincidently my 1995 Peugeot 205 GR 1.4 (TU3M) is at the Mechanic for a clutch replacement. Can't wait for it to be done to drive it again 😁. Great video!!

I had the 205 Rallye. 1294 CC, Twin carburetor, OHC, 103 CV and only 790 KGS. With that car I learned how to drive fast. 😢 I míss my 205.....great video as always!!!!

I haven't gotten to drive any older Peugeot cars or any of the GTI versions but I had the chance to have the 1.6 200 RCZ for 3 weeks back in 2011 and it was what actually got me into racing. Before the RCZ I haven't even driven anything over 100 hp.

Still think their 3 Cylinder engines are good but they had a downphase, when they made these VTi engines PSA and MINI used..
I hope you realize PSA is currently the most reliable car group in the world? Peugeot ranked number 1 on reliability statistics 2nd year in a row in Europe and was very high for years beforethat, and Citroen isn't far below either. It's funny how so many people still make jokes about French cars not being reliable, yet they're literally currently making the most reliable cars in the world. Peugeot has like half the amount of faults that the best Japanese brand has. Renault is near the top as well, but not PSA obviously. Even Germans gave the Megane an award as the most reliable compact to buy used, in a Golf class...and that's something.

Jeune permis possédant ma deuxième peugeot 306 1.8 16v, sa m’aurais pas déplu d’avoir une 205 semblable, elle fait un jolie bruit je trouve, continue tes vidéos !! Si t’as l’occasion, essaye de tester une Renault Safrane 2.5 5 cylindres 168 cv mon père en a possédé une c’est un petit monstre et fiable ! (Moteur Volvo)
