Used to play here as a kid!! Remember getting caught out by the tide and having to spend what seemed like HOURS waiting for it to go out again so we could get back home to Corstorphine. Recall my parents didn’t seem too bothered that I’d been away for about ten hours!! 😂😂😂 Happy days 😊
Great video and took me all the way back to my childhood. Seems so long ago but also just like yesterday as well.

Hah that’s so cool! You seriously had the best playground as a kid - a whole island! Hope you realise how lucky you were :) cheers for watching!

Was the forest just as present as nowadays? With the old sheep house there I can imagine that the forest has only been growing the last decades

Being fairly new to your channel, I'm still on catch up and I think this is my favourite video so far. It was just what I needed in these times and especially so at 4.15am on a Thursday when the insomnia has kicked in once more. I wasn't expecting to be sitting here feeling relaxed and with a smile on my face 😊 thanks Steve and Alicja.

Cheers for watching! I was as surprised as you about the shelters - I was sure at the very least they wouldn’t smell too fresh, but they were perfect! Someone’s done a great job for sure, hope they stay that way!

A really peacefull video. During lockdown here in Devon, I explored much more of the area where I live, and found some wonderful places off the beaten track. I found one such place within walking distance from my home, and it was a truly wonderful experience to sit on top of one of the highest points in Mid Devon, between Exmoor and Dartmoor with Sidmouth in the back ground. Only the Buzzards circling above. Like you I am enjoying what is local.

Lovely to see Cramond again, the wee Scottish village that once housed a future Roman Emperor & military general. You can just about imagine the Roman fortress with its galleys over the estuary of the river... from memory, though a little on the dear side, the pub is one of the better ones as well. 've been there a few times when taking visitors around the city and its suburbs....

We are spending two days in Edinburgh, then heading north, mostly following the A9 to Inverness, but with several stops along the way. On to Smoo cave, John O’Groats, then into the Cairngorms. Steve, this was great!! Looks like a real fun adventure.....nice you were able to pop over to the pub for a quick beer.....nice to have a small treasure like that so near to the city to go & visit & no ferry or anything needed either.....loved Rocky the Robin....very cute!!

Rocky was so tame and friendly! I think I’d be the same if I lived in such a beautiful spot! Cheers for watching!
