When möbius is talking to sylvie at the end they mention it sucks loki cant be there, they then pan back to mobius multiple times with this gold and green lens flare taking up majority of the screen. That symbolizing that Loki is listening in to their conversation at that moment and it is further proven when it pans to Loki’s thread on the first few frame u can hear the conversation they were having echoing from the thread.
Loki is officially the most fleshed out character in the entire MCU. Is this Marvel's way of steering away from Johnathan Majors? Shame because he's a brilliant actor
This was a tremendous story arc for Loki. What a great send off for Tom Hiddleston. I expect we will see him cameo in future Marvel movies but this was an amazing season/series finale.
I hope we see him again. I'd like to see him get some closure with Thor. But even if we never see him again, there really is no bigger way to go out than this.
25:00 Correct, he can, you can hear Möbius’s words echoing to him just before you see him in this same scene, he’s connected to each branch and there can witness them all whilst acting as a ‘battery’ of sorts for the timelines (tree of Yydrasil) so long as he keeps holding onto them, so basically he can’t leave Does get the best possible version of ‘inter-dimensional’ cable ever though 🤷🏾♂️ so I doubt he’ll be bored, I’d defo be getting some snacks etc somehow if that was me though
I'm obsessed with the fact that Loki's story started with basically him trying to “free” the world from freedom, and now he is responsible for /all worlds being free/. Aso the paralles to Thor 1 are just * chef's kiss *
this one episode covers centuries in plot timeline. And it was so well done! Loki is the best comic book show hands down! Like every shot and frame of this series is like a comic book panel come to life.
Can't believe they didn't have Mobius and Loki riding those two jet ski's together! I really thought that's what episode 5 was building up to with Mobius showing Loki the jet ski's and saying he couldn't ride BOTH. Speaking of Mobius, I can't believe Owen Wilson didn't say "wow" ONCE during this entire show!
This had to be *greatest* Marvel Disney + show conclusions It was cool they mentioned Quantumania Kang, but I’m still salty that they call the mainstream universe 616 rather than 199999
It was never that 199999. That was a joke about how long feige wanted the MCU to last. It's 616 cuz that's the designated label for the main continuity in marvel. So there's a 616 for comics and one for the movies
@@shadowx8145yea but it would make more sense for the MCU to be a different universe than 616 since 616 is known as the main comic universe. Since the MCU isn’t telling 616 stories, it shouldn’t be called 616.
I never agree with Pat, but I have to give him credit. He said it was a good ending, but it wasn't what he wanted. So many people (the loudest seem to be on TH-cam) will rip a show to shreds & make it their life's work to tell everyone how bad it is just because it didn't end the way they wanted or expected it to.
Mobius and the TVA will still be around. They’re a big part of Deadpool 3 as they will be recruiting soldiers to fight the Kang Variants. They will most likely be the “Nick Fury” of the MCU, setting up the big showdown of the Kang Dynasty.
It's not just killing Sylvie to save the "sacred timeline". It's also killing every person, civilization and alternative possibilities that are snuffed in order to maintain the fixed loop of time that HWR 'ordained' As they established early on, each branch is countless lives that are not only killed but are also unlived. Experiences that never happened, ideas never thought, art never made, relationships, families, creatures, evolution and large swaths of creation that are not allowed to happen because one person decides it.
I will not lie. I respect he who remains alot. No matter how i look at it, he made a sacrifice to keep time from ending completly. His thought process may not seem right but it was reasonable. He was just a human but he was able to claim a seat at the end of time. Loki has also become my best mcu character. This is the best mcu series ive seen.
"Most purpose is more BURDEN than GLORY" - this gave Loki an epiphany of understanding of what he wanted most - to save to his friends more than anything else - so he replaced HWR with himself and that was his Glorious Purpose in his eyes to sacrifice his existence to replace Kang's nightmare with hope. - Without a doubt in my mind this is the best Marvel storyline imho, and the meta that Loki is literally holding the MCU together is hopefully not lost on anyone else.
After watching it and witnessing everyone lose their minds over how fantastic it was, I'm very curious to see if they enjoyed it as much as everyone else
It was so fitting that Loki's attempt to become the loom would represent a tree but in particular the tree Yggdrasil which would hold all the branches together. With Loki's sacrifice in this finale it would appear he finally learned the lesson Thor tried to explain to him about what it means to rule as a king, and I'm certain his brother as well as Odin & Frigga would be so proud of the Asgardian he's become.
Dude crying about "I still want Loki to be around", that's the point, the message throughout the episode was to choose your burden. Loki finally learned that Glorious Purpose was more than being worshipped by everybody, but by sacrificing what you wish most for and putting everybody and everything first. No one else was going to make that choice so Loki knew that after centuries of trying that the ONLY way everything was going to be saved was if he made that sacrifice. To undo all that just so we could have Season 3 bromance of Loki and Mobius is meaningless! We've had 2 seasons of that! Like Sylvie said when Loki walked out to break the loom "he's giving us a chance", so they can experince life and every timeline will still exist now. This was a perfect ending for Lokis character arc.
33:40 If loki is out of the realm of time, I believe he would not age anymore. An example is "he who remains" he has been there for many many years and has not aged at all. I believe Kang was just a normal human that figured out how to travel outside of time then created the loom and tva to keep himself in theory the only one that ever was allowed to exist as a kang varient.
THIS WAS AMAZINGGGGGGG! So Loki made Yggdrasil? Omg I feel bad for this version's Loki...But because of this single version's suffering...the rest of the versions are happy and free He really is a god...through and through..He did something that was more selfless than the most selfless act ever on the history of the multiverse.
HWR knew about this outcome the whole time he just didn't want Loki to take this route. HWR knew this way that Loki took is harder on him and his variants but HWR has seen a future were this path was taken
I didn't notice until another video pointed it out but when Loki time slips for the last time before going out onto the gangway the speaker goes "welcome he who remains" presumably because timely is putting his head in the scanner off screen but...this show is so clever
Loki is at the end of time so technically he wont age, just like mobius who was there for centuries* - kinda cool seeing loki walk towards his glorious purpose of taming the time lines to save everyone vs years before the same walk and shot fashion towards the throne was to the throne of asgard
The Pyramid you see at the end of the episode when Renslayer is shown in the void is believed to be that of Rama Tut, A Kang Variant. Renslayer IIRC played a huge part in the Multiversal War so i would not be surprised if this isn't the last we've seen of her based on that scene at the end.
@@Nydrin Yeah well another theory I've heard that makes a ton of sense is that at the end of quantumania, when were shown the Council of Kangs meeting. That meeting is actually taking place in the pyramid that's in the Void, same one Renslayer was looking at.
I watched Quantum Mania again and now that scene in the movie makes sense, when it showed a whole bunch of Kangs entering the arena/colosseum thing to almost an infinite amount to then trail off to how many were already there.
isnt it insane how Loki eventually save everythin, not just earth or half a population or asgard etc, everyone and everything ( and all at once). What a perfect ending for this tragic character. I think Loki is my favortie show in the last decade. Top quality, short and condenced yet really deeply explored. a mordern masterpiece
Great finale Tom Hiddleston's Loki has arguably the BEST character arc of any MCU villain or hero in the entire 2 decades of Feige's MCU! With the end of Loki Season 2, I'm for sure betting we'll see more of Hiddles as Loki in the multiverse saga! I like that this version Loki essentially had to actually come to terms with his "purpose" without the burden of the same guilt from Dark World or Ragnorok, and also the death in IFW. well done all around
Not sure if they missed it or not but: "I got those reports on the Variants of He Who Remains. I guess one of 'em caused a bit of a ruckus on 616 adjacent realm" That's a reference to Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
The tears on lokis face right at the end, were genuine. The crew had all just said their goodbyes to eachother and he was sad that he wouldn't get to be loki again. I think with majors being fired now maybe they can do something where loki is more involved
Red Skull found the Tesseract in a large house in Tønsberg, hidden within an enormous mural of you guessed it-the Tree of Life, also known as Yggdrasil. This is a cyclical link to Loki's final sacrifice, becoming the centre of the Tree of Life in order to save every timeline.

The only problem I see here is that he is holding the timelines together himself, he's carrying a burden. But still, casting himself in the timeline seems like somewhat effortless action for him. Just my thoughts.
The perfect ending, for a character with a big heart and a hero now for the multiverse itself. Thor, his father and his mother. I couldn't be more proud of Loki. And everything for everyone... to save the multiverse. 👏👏💚💚💚
Loki became a true God by going through the trials of humanity. Hell of a character arc.
I hope in the future this version of Loki sees Thor again.
I wonder how each of them would feel seeing what they’ve become.
thor became a loser and loki became the literal fabric of time
@@kevinkusuma9002 Thor is mentally depressed which caused his downfall and Loki became the god of stories.
@@kevinkusuma9002TF you on
They will! It's been confirmed Thor and Loki will meet again in the mcu
@kevinkusuma9002 harsh....but you aren't wrong
Almost every Thor movie and appearance,he has the same thing.he loses something.he is constantly broken down more and more.
His royalty
His mother
His father
Loki
His own home
Loki again
Half the universe(when he could have stopped it if he had gone for the head)
His close friends(avengers)
And finally
He lost Jane
When möbius is talking to sylvie at the end they mention it sucks loki cant be there, they then pan back to mobius multiple times with this gold and green lens flare taking up majority of the screen. That symbolizing that Loki is listening in to their conversation at that moment and it is further proven when it pans to Loki’s thread on the first few frame u can hear the conversation they were having echoing from the thread.
Pat almost always misses the point of any scene he watches. Gotta love it.
Loki is officially the most fleshed out character in the entire MCU. Is this Marvel's way of steering away from Johnathan Majors? Shame because he's a brilliant actor
I got a similar feeling about Majors. If it is an attempt to steer away from him, it was done well.
I did not feel this as an attempted to steer away from Khan, it felt more like his beginning, but i can be wrong
They can go either way, I feel. Either Loki solved the problem or Kang put him exactly where he wanted him all along.
21:34 THAT BLEW MY MIND. THEY’VE BEEN PLANTING (pun intended) SINCE THE BEGINNING
25:00 Correct, he can, you can hear Möbius’s words echoing to him just before you see him in this same scene, he’s connected to each branch and there can witness them all whilst acting as a ‘battery’ of sorts for the timelines (tree of Yydrasil) so long as he keeps holding onto them, so basically he can’t leave
Does get the best possible version of ‘inter-dimensional’ cable ever though 🤷🏾♂️ so I doubt he’ll be bored, I’d defo be getting some snacks etc somehow if that was me though
Why does Pat always gotta choose violence? LOL
I'm obsessed with the fact that Loki's story started with basically him trying to “free” the world from freedom, and now he is responsible for /all worlds being free/.
Aso the paralles to Thor 1 are just * chef's kiss *
Rana should’ve called herself “Rana Renslayer”, would’ve been a cool nickname for this show
this one episode covers centuries in plot timeline. And it was so well done! Loki is the best comic book show hands down! Like every shot and frame of this series is like a comic book panel come to life.
Loki can create and control multiple copies of himself you know he’s having fun in the multiverse whilst still setting there
Can't believe they didn't have Mobius and Loki riding those two jet ski's together! I really thought that's what episode 5 was building up to with Mobius showing Loki the jet ski's and saying he couldn't ride BOTH. Speaking of Mobius, I can't believe Owen Wilson didn't say "wow" ONCE during this entire show!
lmao it's hilarious watching the Normies consistently be wrong so many times. It was like rapid fire in this episode
This had to be *greatest* Marvel Disney + show conclusions
It was cool they mentioned Quantumania Kang, but I’m still salty that they call the mainstream universe 616 rather than 199999
It was never that 199999.
This didn't suffer the Disney doesn't know how to do a finale curse.
The shot of the pyramid in the void gave me chills. Iykyk
“Your not the one to make the sacrifice play, let the guy climb over you”😢 Joins the Legends
Good one. First Tony, and now Loki.
Ironically the first episode of season one was also called glorious purpose
It was intentional.
He won't get old just like the human he who remains never got old in the outside of time.
Loki went from the hated character that killed Colson to the hero of all time. No one saw this coming. Excellent writing.
Agree 👍
Mobius and the TVA will still be around. They’re a big part of Deadpool 3 as they will be recruiting soldiers to fight the Kang Variants. They will most likely be the “Nick Fury” of the MCU, setting up the big showdown of the Kang Dynasty.
One of the best, most epic and satisfying endings to a TV show ever.
Oh My God. “Welcome he who remains” when loki time slipped!!!
It's not just killing Sylvie to save the "sacred timeline".
It's also killing every person, civilization and alternative possibilities that are snuffed in order to maintain the fixed loop of time that HWR 'ordained'
As they established early on, each branch is countless lives that are not only killed but are also unlived.
"both of you born were to be king, but only one of you will ascend the throne"
- Odin
This episode made me cry. Loki want from a selfish god to a god that sacrificed what he wanted for the ones he cared about.
Omg I feel bad for this version's Loki...But because of this single version's suffering...the rest of the versions are happy and free
He really is a god...through and through..He did something that was more selfless than the most selfless act ever on the history of the multiverse.
25:24 it was bitter sweet.
The fact that Rana didn’t introduce herself as “Ranaslayer” disappoints me.
The title is the SAME as the very first episode of season 1! It's a loop!🤯
pretty sure loki combined the enchantment he learned from sylvie with his own new time magic to control the threads.
Loki tv series is basically loki's redemption arc in marvel universe.
HWR knew about this outcome the whole time he just didn't want Loki to take this route. HWR knew this way that Loki took is harder on him and his variants but HWR has seen a future were this path was taken
The "For U,For all of us" was perfect
he said that to Odin in Thor 1 too but this time,he actually meant it
I didn't notice until another video pointed it out but when Loki time slips for the last time before going out onto the gangway the speaker goes "welcome he who remains" presumably because timely is putting his head in the scanner off screen but...this show is so clever
I appreciate Rana for crying, even silently. Cause this episode absolutely broke me
It seems like some forget that Loki can astral project. He can go anywhere without leaving the throne.
We don't really know what their rules for Loki will be though, they could change that. Who knows
I feel like Alioth will recognize her
@@Nydrin
Yeah well another theory I've heard that makes a ton of sense is that at the end of quantumania, when were shown the Council of Kangs meeting. That meeting is actually taking place in the pyramid that's in the Void, same one Renslayer was looking at.
@@zalbert19 that would have to be one big pyramid.
I watched Quantum Mania again and now that scene in the movie makes sense, when it showed a whole bunch of Kangs entering the arena/colosseum thing to almost an infinite amount to then trail off to how many were already there.
Damn I'm upset nobody caught on the antman 3 connection at the end there
@The Normies,
25:54 Pat, Loki lives outside of time now--he literally holds all of time in his hands. Loki's life is infinite now.
Goes from wanting a throne to it being the last thing he cares about. Absolute legendary send off.
isnt it insane how Loki eventually save everythin, not just earth or half a population or asgard etc, everyone and everything ( and all at once). What a perfect ending for this tragic character. I think Loki is my favortie show in the last decade. Top quality, short and condenced yet really deeply explored. a mordern masterpiece
Okay, Loki is hands down the strongest fictional character ever.
Not sure if they missed it or not but:
"I got those reports on the Variants of He Who Remains. I guess one of 'em caused a bit of a ruckus on 616 adjacent realm"
That's a reference to Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
As perfect an ending it was, like Pat said, I just want Loki back :( HE IS ALL ALONEEEEE!!
Aaa 😢
I was literally sad all day Friday lol
The tears on lokis face right at the end, were genuine. The crew had all just said their goodbyes to eachother and he was sad that he wouldn't get to be loki again. I think with majors being fired now maybe they can do something where loki is more involved
Red Skull found the Tesseract in a large house in Tønsberg, hidden within an enormous mural of you guessed it-the Tree of Life, also known as Yggdrasil. This is a cyclical link to Loki's final sacrifice, becoming the centre of the Tree of Life in order to save every timeline.
