I think this movie was underrated. I hope this movie gets a sequel so we can see Arishem make his judgement. FYI: That person talking to Dane in the post-credit scene was Blade.
Feige often goes on with their plan they are not reactionary like WB. They will maybe adapt a few things as they did with Thor 3 which revived the Thor franchise that lead to another Thor movie.
I think this might turn out to be a situation similar to Age of Ultron or Thor: the Dark World where stuff established in Eternals becomes important and relevant later down the line

Maybe I imagined this but I think there's an agreed upon understanding that DC and Marvel exist in each other's universes as their respective comic books
They also had a crossover. In which they showed that the living tribunal and spectre are equal beings and both keep their universes from colliding. Also we got thanos vs darkseid
You are right. There was also a time when Marvel and DC characters would often team up on adventures. The companies had established that characters can travel between the Marvel and DC universes under certain conditions. There is a character named Access who has the ability to travel between the two universes and I believe he is owned by both DC and Marvel. Strangely enough, there is also an Earth (Earth 7462 according to Marvel) where DC and Marvel characters coexist. Sadly, it has been so long since any of those crossovers took place, that a lot of fans don't know and/or don't believe they ever took place. I think that the live action movies/shows only referencing the other companies characters as comic book characters is helping to wipe away the memory of the old crossovers. It's too bad the companies can't play nice again, because some of those crossovers were very good.
It's already been established in other Marvel films that he exists in some way. Superman is inbeded in American culture. He shows up in some way in everything.
I really love this movie, it's so different and refreshing. Chloe is such a great director, the cinematography was amazing. Instead of your typical superhero movie, this was a family drama spanning millenia over conflicting ideals.
I agree that it's enjoyable but there are definitely obvious issues with it, the main one I agree with is that there's too much exposition and repetition of the exposition Alot of issues people have with it are just staples of more character driven drama based films, but they went into it expecting the standard MCU formula and were disappointed (the slow pace and lengthy dialogue)
I'd say this is one of my top 5 MCU films, it's really engaging and rich and I don't understand the backlash it faced, it's staggeringly beautiful. Comic spoilers :Avengers HQ is in the dead Celestial.
I love this movie (and I saw every marvel movie, series). The visuals are beautiful and story line was so refreshing. Really liked all the characters, history of it all. I don't know why people hate it so much... It's sad, because second movie may change because of the hate. Chloé Zhao has such a beautiful vision and it elevates the movie, I hope they won't change the director for the next one.
Totally agree, and while Thor Ragnarok was loved by many for its complete change of tone and feeling like the trilogy was reinvigorated, I really hope if there's another Eternals that they don't do a total 180 based on the reviews and turn it into a huge comedy. :/ When I think Eternals I think majestic, and imho the more somber tone (intermixed with some comedy ofc) worked well for the movie.
Oh goodness, I never thought they would change directors. She did establish the tone well. It’s more rotten tomatoes, rather then critics. Critics whose reviews were deemed “rotten” by rotten tomatoes actually had good things to say about the film and don’t know why their review was deemed rotten. The audience score was like 84% but no one talked about that. The only issues I see is the story was too big (Arishem’s exposition scene to Sersi was too long), and should have spread out over 2 movies and the chemistry issues with a couple of the leads. Other then that, the movie was incredibly good and explored complex themes.
This movie is mixed bag for those who want the usual marvel formula, lol... I loved it, it was different and set up so many things and lore for other future movies too.
@@StupendousMan. they could've made it better by destroying earth at the end of the movie and it is revealed it was taking place on an another universe and shows that arishem is sending the eternals now in the main MCU timeline earth
I absolutely loved it! I heard all the criticisms the movie was getting before i saw it in theaters, I walked out thinking "What movie did the critics watch? That was great!" One of the things I really really loved was the fight scenes with the speedster. It didnt have the obligatory slow motion running scene that all speedster movies and tv shows have, not that theres anything wrong with those scenes its just we've seen them over and over. It was a nice chance of pace to see someone fight using their speed in *real time* it made the fighting so much more intense!
I saw a review stating that this would have been an excellent movie if this was filmed like Infinity War and Endgame (filmed as two movies back to back as one massive story). I agree the intended plot would have been better told as such
I agree it should’ve either been 2 movies or 3+ hrs with the first one focusing on eternals time in ancient earth and towards the first half /first movie they realize the twist about their mission etc . I really would’ve loved to see more of eternals as a family in ancient times. Nevertheless this movie set a story too big which can be more exciting for its sequel than any other mcu movies .
The thing is infinity war and endgame were closure to saga of movies, they really didnt need to introduce any new characters So we got to the character conflict right away Whereas with eternals even if you spend 1 movie in setting up the characters and lore and other for only conflict, that would be 'way too boring' for a lot of people, the more I think of why they chose this format...I sort of end up agreeing with their choices They did the best they could IMO
@@Anu32148 Agreed. If they split it into two movies, I assume it would've had the same formula as Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2 which were great when it came out, but every Marvel movies basically follows that formula now that I wanted something new. This movie was a breath of fresh air.
This movie has no.1 MCU placed in my heart. Loved everything about this movie , the plot, visuals , score, fight scenes. It was refreshing for me. Jokes aside this is the very human movie driven by not human characters lol. Loved how it left us to think about what is 'heroism'. Ikaris wasn't wrong for being loyal to his mission and his leader. While the rest could be wrong to betray their mission. In another point, they saved the world. Ajak was the first one who noticed something special about this planet. And she led everyone go live their lives, hoping they'll find out that this world is so worth saving. Where Makkari ran to find the Emergence, they put some oil platforms behind her. Just let us think 'is it really worth saving?'
I never heard anyone who watched it say it was bad. That sentiment seemed to be driven by critics. Watched this twice in theaters and am firmly anticipating Karun's return. The explanation that they used the power of Tiamut to destroy him made sense to me.
I didn't think it was bad. The first time I watched it, it was definitely different than the other Marvel movies so it felt off but then I saw it a second time and I enjoyed it more.
In the comics, Arishem and Tiamut are actually in conflict with each other. Due to one incident and Arishem convincing a few other Celestials to be on his side, they went against Tiamut and trapped him on Earth. In the comics, the Celestials serve another higher being called Fulcrum (rumored to be the One Above All - basically God himself). Also, the Celestial that died on Earth after being infected by the Horde (they're basically a swarm of locusts that serves Fulcrum directly) is the Progenitor, an Alpha Celestial, not Arishem. The Progenitor's body fluids was hypothesized by Loki to be the cause of the superhuman abnormalities in Earth's inhabitants. This movie most likely took its thematic inspiration from the Neil Gaiman's run of Eternals in 2006. Neil Gaiman is pretty well known for novels that involves cultures, gods and religions. American Gods, the show was based on the actual book itself written by Neil Gaiman. While it does cut out quite a few things from the book, it's still highly enjoyable and it has a very similar thematic feel to Eternals. The voice at the end was Blade, potentially setting up Kit Harrington's character to appear in Blade. With Moon Knight coming out soon, there is potential for these 3 characters to crossover with one another in their shows. If these shows do well, we might see a Midnight Sons adaptation which delves more into the supernatural aspects.
I was really pleasantly surprised by all you guys' reaction! It was nice seeing you understand each Eternal's perspective whether they were for the Celestials' plan or against it. I totally agree, Ikaris was the antagonist but he had a good reason--to him, everyone else was the one betraying their mission--and add in his millennia-long relationship with the group and it's a really tragic dilemma. I thought this movie was incredibly beautiful with its epic scope and lofty concept and it's already one of my favorites in the mcu. I thought the pacing, flashbacks, and humor were fine, and I felt the chemistry between the whole group. It really felt like they were family. I guess I get some of the criticism since no movie is perfect, but in no way do I think this movie deserves the vitriol it got from some folks. It was an ambitious movie, esp for the mcu, and it was really well done. I also love how you guys caught on to a lot of things other reactors haven't seemed to, like the significance of Sersi offering the blade to the boy at the beginning and all the mythology connections and how the Eternals influenced tales passed down through the generations. I'm also really hoping to see that frozen Celestial pop up in future mcu films. That shot was sooo epic.
I'm surprised Marketa is the one that liked it the least. xD And as for the movie, I liked it. The first time I watched I was like "okay this is different". The second time I liked it a lot. It opens a lot of possibilities. And the scenes through history were among the best stuff I've seen in recent years.
Marketa's thoughts on the movie surprised me too. She seemed to be really enjoying all of it throughout, so I was confused when she expressed some disappointment at the end.
Except for the fact that's not how Celestials are. They're not born from planets and consume life force like Galactus. That's an Earth X thing and Kevin Fiege liked that series. Personally I think it's dumb and they should remain pre-universe ancients.
So let begin by say I love how taken in you guys were about the history of the eternals. I myself love this movie for all the back story. Throughout the ages you get to see how they made a difference in humanity growth by doing or not doing. I grade this movie 10/10 an A+. One its something new and never done before in the mcu. It is in my top five.
I loved the caretaker relationship not being portrayed as a tragedy. As someone who has been a caretaker, it was nice seeing how Gilgamesh is attentive to Thena’s waxing and waning symptoms of her illness.
Hahahhaha when Marketa was screaming "no no no no no" during Gilgamesh fight I was looking away and when I looked back it was Thena tapping her head and I thought it was her saying "no no no no no" lolz it matched so well
I really loved this movie, I think it was very fantasy epic in its themes/tone which is so different for the MCU. I hope they don't change the sequel due to the negativity, I would hate for Zhao's vision to be interrupted! Just to clarify one thing with Starfox, Thanos, and their heritage. Starfox and Thanos both were born on Titan, they're still Titans, however, Thanos is an Eternal who was born with the Deviant gene, hence why he doesn't look human-like his brother does. They're not really retconning anything, just enhancing what we already knew! Also shout out to Harry Styles being in the MCU now, i love his music, saw him in concert!
I really enjoy this film, I've seen it 3 times and each time I've liked it more than the last. I love the characters and their relationships, especially Makkari and Druig, and didn't mind the story There are some issues, such as the use of deviants, but I certainly don't agree with all the criticism it has received. That being said, this fits into the bottom of my top 10 MCU movies, probably either 9th or 10th.
Love the reaction! I like this movie, I understand why some of the critiques were made and I get some of them, but I did enjoy the movie very much. I'm excited for this new Marvel phase and how they are bringing up these stories, while integrating what we have already in the MCU for Earth 616. PS: Just a little FYI: Most of the Amazon is in Brazil, but some parts of it is in other South American countries, which most of them speak Spanish, as it is spoken in the movie at 31:26. In Brazil, the official language isn't Brazilian, it's Portuguese. Not what they are speaking.
In comics tiamut was traped by arishem and other celestials on earth. He is one of the most powerful celestials and galactus is afraid of him. And he has love for human kind, i think thats why the director made a reference with the "tiamut killed himself" in the movie.
(A not so) Fun Fact: some of the scenes in the movie were filmed in the Canary Islands, the arrival to Earth in Mesopotamia, Babylon, Australia, including the scenes where Tiamet emerges from a volcano eruption. This was before an actual volcano took place in the Island of La Palma, which is located in that same group of islands, and it lasted almost three months, covering the time when the film was released on theatres. A crazy coincidence and pretty shocking to watch on screen during that time.
First time i saw it i thought it was decent movie but after i watched it second time i noticed so manny details and foreshadowing it moved up to a great movie on my list
When chris mentioned steven universe having the same concept of a powerful being that is prevented from emerging/being born, i was like "YES I KNEW I WASNT CRAZY". They are also similar in the sense that both of these beings actually helped in preventing the emergence, themselves. Personally, i really like that trope (is it even a trope? Lol).
This movie is exactly why no one should allow critics to tell you what to watch. I always watch the movie for myself so I can make my own decisions. This movie was so much fun 👏👏
Arishem didn't die in the comics. The celestial you're talking about is called Progenitor, the first celestial that came to earth and died bc of sickness. His death was the reason earth has life on it.
1:00:55 Actually this movie takes place *before* Hawkeye and before Spider-Man : NWH, according to the official timeline. Hawkeye and Spider-Man : NWH both take place around Christmas 2024 (this is confirmed), and in Eternals they say it's been 5 years since Thanos wiped out half the population, which means Eternals is taking place in 2023. This is backed up by the fact that the news blames the earthquake on the Blip, which suggests that the events of Endgame are recent.
This was definitely one of my favorite MCU movies, still it left me with some questions about the Eternals nature and how would it work. I want to point out also that I think Kingo going away and not taking part in the last fight was a good decision, because it shows they can have different opinions between them, while the others were on this or that side he took his own side and said "I agree with Icaris but I won't fight my own family for this".
Timing in art is everything. This film hit theaters during the 45th anniversary of The Eternals' debut in Marvel comics. Didn't know that Jack Kirby was the sole creator of these characters. For a story of god-like beings who walked the Earth since Mankind's early civilizations, it's an incredible journey. I saw Chloe Zhao's Nomadland and it was very good. Marvel Studios made the right choice in her as director of this. I missed watching the IMAX showings of this film. But it is one of the most beautifully filmed movies of the MCU. The end credits scenes paint such a incredible picture of what the future will bring.
First, just to clear it up I believe Sersi turned it into Stone (Marble?) because the news reporter at the end said "A giant stone figure in the ocean" But....This is my number one MCU film, reading comics as a little girl I was always attracted to the epic and grand scale of story telling and this film really captured that essence for me and reminded me why I love comics. I recognize it is not a perfect film by most standards but that is what is great about it for me is that it breaks the norm/standards and really gave the MCU a breath of fresh air. The on location sets (the visuals this film provided are unmatched in the MCU) are really going to make it hard for me to watch MCU films going forward if they use so much CGI to provide locations and environments.
Hey normies, I don’t know if you ever saw this show but the last kingdom on Netflix is super good, I definitely recommend it before the final season comes out, I really think everyone will enjoy it
It's crazy how if you go to the trailer of this movie almost everybody is hating on it but on some of the reaction channels that I watch most of the people in the comments either loved it or liked it way more than they thought they would.
The best part of this movie is their Story showing how they help humanity to evolve, how they fight deviants, how Arishem explains the creation and destruction of universe, makkari's running scene, Eternals vs Ikkarus, Arishem arrive on earth
Didn’t watch the film in theaters due to the mix reception. Watched this reaction just to see what was up , I’m like uhh I need to watch this now. It’s looks like a movie I would really dig.
In comics, Thanos was spawned by the Eternals. The parents of Thanos were the Eternals Sui-San and A'Lars, and their actions play direct roles in their son's transformation into one of the deadliest threats in the entire universe. and ERos is his biological brother, he opposes his mad brother Thanos, much like the rest of the universe. He has the power to psychically control other people's emotions. He was a member of the Avengers and Dark Guardians in the comics.
In the comics each Celestial is defined by a name followed by a function like Eson The Searcher or Gammenon the Gatherer. Arishem's full name is Arishem The Judge. So the way they ended the movie dovetails with his position in the comics. The Celestials basically go from planet to planet seeding life. Sometime much much later Arishem comes back and does an assessment of that planet's progress. If Arishem doesn't like what he sees, he literally gives a thumbs down on the planet. Jack Kirby drew Arishem's thumb with a big glowing mathematical equation on it. Once the judgement occurred, the Celestial Exitar the Executioner (who is ten or more times bigger than other Celestials) arrives to wipe out the entire biosphere and they start over. So it will be interesting to see where that judgement storyline goes in the next movie.
Just startled my roommate shouting "Hogwarts!" when Makkari ran through Glenfinnan Viaduct. I've seen this movie three times and this is the first time I noticed it.
To go off of Micky's Galactus comment; it is gonna happen, and I think that's gonna be the "Punishment" Arishem is eluding to in our future. The MCU remixes a lot of origins, I can see them doing it for his too
So I think Icarus’s actions were somewhat justified. He loved Sersi and Ajac wouldn’t allow him to tell the rest about their ultimate goal so when they all split apart and he and Sersi broke up he had to spend what, 🤔, 2,000 years away from his love keeping a devastating secret and then 7 days before the job is complete and his separation from Sersi is over Ajac CHANGES HER MIND. Honestly his mental break from that fact is understandable. He kept the secret and then suddenly it was all for nothing. If they suddenly stopped the emergence it would’ve been like a slap to the face for all he’s sacrificed. This was a great movie! 🤩
This movie had a HUGE job and soooo much information to give to an audience and I think it did it very well. I think it would process a lot of it better as a series, but when it has to be a movie? Did a great job. Given how much info that is in in it, I think that information is more vital to the overall marvel timeline/future than some of the other things that suffered as a result. The visuals were AMAZING and considering how much of that work was started/based on practical film work? It's an achievement. Most of my issues I'm blaming on some of the editing and chosen focuses in the film.
For those who thought this Celestial was huge it can sit on the Living Tribune's lap like a little toddler sitting on Santa's lap at the mall. In other words you have not seen big.
Kingo's valet(Karun) is speculated to be a Skrull by a lot of people. Notice how he calls the deviant a beautiful creature. The skrulls are direct descendants of the deviants.
They really code poor Druig to be the villain. Even in the establishing group shot in the beginning. He’s the last one to be revealed and he wears all black. 😂😂😂 Definitely the black sheep of the family and therefore most likely to do a heel turn according to the film tropes we are used to. The film does not get enough credit for misdirecting us. I was sure Druig was going to be the villain. Then his crush on Makkari (where he turned into a squishmellow of sunshine and rainbows) changed my whole opinion of him. He just cared too much and asked the right questions. I think the movie gets hate as it drifted much further from the marvel movie formula. We were set up for certain expectations and then while they were averted, some people don’t like that. Also, I think some people felt threatened by the “diversity”. Aka, what the human population actually looks like. The diversity is the most realistic thing when the group is globe trotting and history spanning. Statistically, the gender distribution alone usually has to be corrected for when a story is based on comics, as comics for a long time were aimed at men. The real world does not look like the comic book world. Chole Zhao wanted to ground the story, in the real world so people could accept the more fantastical elements. 10 white guys (7 white guys and 3 girls) as the Eternals would be absolutely nonsensical.
i loved this movie! i think marvel being able to choose different directors with a drastically different way of story telling is wonderful and chloe zhao did amazing with how big of a project she was given. it opens paths for more poc creatives to enter and i cannot wait for a sequel
5:45 they already had tools but she gave them the knowledge to leave the Stone Age and enter the Bronze Age. Bronze Age is when humankind start pushing forward to further the tools they have, discover new resources and such. This goes on to Iron Age, steel age and so on.
Many others and I share the same opinion that with the abundance of characters in this movie, it definitely limited some character development, which is honestly a bit of a shame. I got invested in most of the externals based on their powers and outfits alone, but then you always need the development aspect of a character to form an solid opinion. I have seen some people online suggest that it might’ve performed better as a Disney+ series, which I do think would’ve better than a movie. And if they wanted to incorporate time for all the Eternals on screen for the first season, they would have to add more than the average number of episodes most of the others shows have. (WandaVision and What If both have 9 and Loki and Falcon+Winter Soldier have 6; so maybe they could do like 12 or 14; but it’s just a thought). The movie was good, but there was room for improvement. However, if I can defend the movie in a few aspects, the visuals and music were sublime. And like Mickey said at 13:15, the multiple cultures represented here as well.
I really wanted to love this one, but it’s just ok. It would have been better as a series. I also like how not at all phased you guys were about the random voice talking to Dane. Didn’t even question it (yet at least, still listening to the discussion)

Yes! It's unique and enfused so many great elements into the comicbook movie genre!
I agree, i hate people who said this movie is bad
I've watched this movie like 3 times and I love it. idon't know what everybody's issue was with it.
Exactly, i enjoyed more eternals than no way home. 🙄Hope they make more movies distinct like phase 1
I agree that it's enjoyable but there are definitely obvious issues with it, the main one I agree with is that there's too much exposition and repetition of the exposition
Alot of issues people have with it are just staples of more character driven drama based films, but they went into it expecting the standard MCU formula and were disappointed (the slow pace and lengthy dialogue)
The more I watch it the more I love it went from being my top 15MCU to top 3
It's a very subjective movie
I loved it myself
But it isnt everyone's cup if tea!
😂 It's really different to watch positive comments in youtube Especially for eternals

There are so many bad reviews. 🤦🏻♂️I liked this movie a lot too.
@@lurategh omg agree, dont change the director plss
Oh goodness, I never thought they would change directors.
She did establish the tone well.
It’s more rotten tomatoes, rather then critics. Critics whose reviews were deemed “rotten” by rotten tomatoes actually had good things to say about the film and don’t know why their review was deemed rotten. The audience score was like 84% but no one talked about that.
The only issues I see is the story was too big (Arishem’s exposition scene to Sersi was too long), and should have spread out over 2 movies and the chemistry issues with a couple of the leads. Other then that, the movie was incredibly good and explored complex themes.
so ready for the MCU to start exploring all of the supernatural shit.
This movie is mixed bag for those who want the usual marvel formula, lol... I loved it, it was different and set up so many things and lore for other future movies too.
Lol yeah or because its kinda boring and doesn't make alot of sense given the stuff that came before it....
@@StupendousMan. they could've made it better by destroying earth at the end of the movie and it is revealed it was taking place on an another universe and shows that arishem is sending the eternals now in the main MCU timeline earth
@@mukeshmalhotra9146 not a bad idea given the introduction of the mutliverse. That probably would of made it better for me.

This movie was damn good. I loved it. Genuinely surprised at its critical reception.
I absolutely loved it! I heard all the criticisms the movie was getting before i saw it in theaters, I walked out thinking "What movie did the critics watch? That was great!"
One of the things I really really loved was the fight scenes with the speedster. It didnt have the obligatory slow motion running scene that all speedster movies and tv shows have, not that theres anything wrong with those scenes its just we've seen them over and over. It was a nice chance of pace to see someone fight using their speed in *real time* it made the fighting so much more intense!
I've seen this movie three times and loved it more each watch. It's a bit of a slow burn, but I love the lore.
yess the lore so satisfying
I saw a review stating that this would have been an excellent movie if this was filmed like Infinity War and Endgame (filmed as two movies back to back as one massive story). I agree the intended plot would have been better told as such
I agree it should’ve either been 2 movies or 3+ hrs with the first one focusing on eternals time in ancient earth and towards the first half /first movie they realize the twist about their mission etc . I really would’ve loved to see more of eternals as a family in ancient times. Nevertheless this movie set a story too big which can be more exciting for its sequel than any other mcu movies .
The thing is infinity war and endgame were closure to saga of movies, they really didnt need to introduce any new characters
So we got to the character conflict right away
Whereas with eternals even if you spend 1 movie in setting up the characters and lore and other for only conflict, that would be 'way too boring' for a lot of people, the more I think of why they chose this format...I sort of end up agreeing with their choices
They did the best they could IMO
@@Anu32148 Agreed. If they split it into two movies, I assume it would've had the same formula as Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2 which were great when it came out, but every Marvel movies basically follows that formula now that I wanted something new. This movie was a breath of fresh air.
It would have been better as a Disney+ show. I don't see why you would want this movie to have two parts separated by a whole year
@@Anu32148 You have common sense, I like it.
Just let us think 'is it really worth saving?'
i LOVED this movie. Cinema wise is a kick in all others mcu movies' butts
IT was SO GOOD! And visually STUNNING with phenomenal cinematography!
Yep. Watching it again with normies made me like this movie so much more. 9/10
Marketa's thoughts on the movie surprised me too. She seemed to be really enjoying all of it throughout, so I was confused when she expressed some disappointment at the end.
@@ShortyLongstrokin maybe it will grow on her after rewatching!! Coz it seems she really was enjoying it
Favorite thing about this movie: EVERYTHING about the Celestials. Absolutely everything is perfect with them.
Except for the fact that's not how Celestials are. They're not born from planets and consume life force like Galactus. That's an Earth X thing and Kevin Fiege liked that series. Personally I think it's dumb and they should remain pre-universe ancients.
I'm so glad to see y'all react to the Dishoom part the same way I did. It was one of the biggest AYYYYEEEE parts of this movie for me.
So let begin by say I love how taken in you guys were about the history of the eternals. I myself love this movie for all the back story. Throughout the ages you get to see how they made a difference in humanity growth by doing or not doing. I grade this movie 10/10 an A+. One its something new and never done before in the mcu. It is in my top five.
hot take: this is one of my favorite MCU movies: best acting, high emotion, unique powers used in a cool ass way, it’s different and i love it
“They’re in the Amazon, there’s no medicine…he’s a robot” 😂
58:50 Thanos is an Eternal with the deviant gene that’s why he looks the way he looks and his brother looks like a regular Eternal
Watched it with my parents and we liked it we loved Thena and Gilgamesh the most and hope to see more of them along side ajak
Hope to see? How. Ajak and Gilgamesh are gone prob forever. Glad you guys liked the movie.
I loved the caretaker relationship not being portrayed as a tragedy.
As someone who has been a caretaker, it was nice seeing how Gilgamesh is attentive to Thena’s waxing and waning symptoms of her illness.
Hahahhaha when Marketa was screaming "no no no no no" during Gilgamesh fight I was looking away and when I looked back it was Thena tapping her head and I thought it was her saying "no no no no no" lolz it matched so well
Jon Snow "my family history is complicated" Oh really
24:05 I always get chills seeing this scene! Absolutely spectacular!
Right! Some of the best vfx I’ve seen along with a great music it’s called “celestials” by ramin djawadi listen to it
Glad this channel react to this.
This is mye top 5 MCU movies so far.
I love how Ajak looks like a proud Mexican mother at 13:12
(A not so) Fun Fact: some of the scenes in the movie were filmed in the Canary Islands, the arrival to Earth in Mesopotamia, Babylon, Australia, including the scenes where Tiamet emerges from a volcano eruption. This was before an actual volcano took place in the Island of La Palma, which is located in that same group of islands, and it lasted almost three months, covering the time when the film was released on theatres. A crazy coincidence and pretty shocking to watch on screen during that time.
This movie was filmed in the fall of 2019 and ended in January of 2020 well over a month before any covid-related lockdowns.
Damn now I wanted to watch this movie in a movie screen again, it’s so beautiful to see all the details
20:50 was the best reaction to this movie ever hahahaha
Karun is the literal definition of "the camera man never dies!"
First time i saw it i thought it was decent movie but after i watched it second time i noticed so manny details and foreshadowing it moved up to a great movie on my list
Ikaris: I came to check on you because of the earthquake.
Mikey: Doubt.
Karun is legit the best character in this movie...and solidly one of the best comedic timings in the MCU thus far.
Hell no.
@@anouar3194 Why not?
“E-tern-als! I didn’t mind that!”
-Suraj, with the film’s official tagline
I love how they did stylized their powers it was pretty unique
"I love how hefty and lofty of ideas these are..." - Chris
And that is exactly why I loved it.

53:01 I'll never get over how weird it is to hear Jon Snow say "I love you Cersei*"
31:42 my university has a lot of south asian students, so when they heard the "Dishoom" Joke everyone lost their minds
Eternals was amazing! I hope to see more movies and series like that in Marvel/Disney.
About the Earth-Eternal Tiamut: she didn't turn him to ice, but to marble.
I adore this movie. It honestly might be my new favorite MCU movie.
For those who thought this Celestial was huge it can sit on the Living Tribune's lap like a little toddler sitting on Santa's lap at the mall. In other words you have not seen big.
Just watched this yesterday. 100% can’t hop on the hate train, because I absolutely loved this. In my top #3 marvel movies for now 🔥
Kingo's valet(Karun) is speculated to be a Skrull by a lot of people. Notice how he calls the deviant a beautiful creature. The skrulls are direct descendants of the deviants.
This is my favorite Marvel movie.
John Snow's got some family history and we didn't even get an answer
Why do some people hate this movie? I find it as great as any Marvel movies! Its also a good plot twist that Ikaris is the villain instead of Druig.
WRONG! The last time Kit and Richard were together was during one of Bran's Visions in Season 2 or 3 when they're out hunting together.
I loved this movie! Love all the characters and the deeper themes, humor, action
This is easily one of my favourite MCU movies! It honestly upsets me a bit that a bunch of people don't like it.

Gemma Chan who plays Sersi was also Minn-erva (Kree Soldier) in Captain Marvel
I really wanted to love this one, but it’s just ok. It would have been better as a series.

Bruh, it's just an opinion intended to provide alternative considering how some MCU fans believed that Marvel should've provided enough time to develop all 10 characters.
Was the movie good? For me, yes. It's still good to watch. But I wonder if character like Makari could've been given more screen time as well. And as movie is limited by approximately 2 hours length, a series can provide enough space for Marvel to tell the story of each Eternals.

I hope that people learn to form their own opinions. I hope that they decide to make a second Eternals movie. If that happens, we should see it in the theaters.
