U2 signed a 2 year deal with the Sphere group, so expect them back after the release of the new album which was nearly complete before the Sphere resident shows 💗😊
What a very great drummer is Bram. Larry has asked Bram exclusively to temporarily replace him. Bram did a very great job, just the way Larry wanted to see and hear.
43 years after I saw a review of their first album and bought it, from a small unknown Irish band noone had heard of. Here they are a global potent force. Amazing!!
I agree. They missed the other 50% of the experience by showing a only a brief view of the incredible display shown during the song and the transition from black and white to “the colors” literally “coming out” as the song progressed. The artwork was awe inspiring.
What? $1500 per ticket that's insane, I guess this working man will never be able to take my kids and wife. Although I'm happy for the one's whom are able. It sure looks incredible.
Starting price was 140 including taxes and fees. And the gave college students in LV tickets sat 50 bucks a pop. Dont blame the band for scalpers and Ticketbastard for their horrible system that can’t keep out bots.
Not about the music anymore , just tons of visual crap ! I remember going to see the zoo TV tour in Dublin . Going in sober to properly see this " rock n roll circus " ... you need some kind of drug ! 😁
When I was there in november, the coolest thing was the way the audience participated in the show. I haven't seen that level since some of the old Springsteen shows.
@@selenesimonson9930 I agree with you. I’m a 63 yr old new U2 fan and I actually noticed that back in the Live Aid years so don’t know why I made my comment. I think it’s just all the hype of the Sphere. I didn’t go so I’m not answering this from experience, but having never seen U2, I think I’d prefer seeing them without all the hoopla of the “sphere”. I’m actually sitting in my car listening to “One” and in tears that I missed 30 years with this song. 😭
@@RowenMyBoat I went to 6 Sphere shows-they were amazing! U2 has chosen the technology route and I agree that Bruce concerts are much more organic. ( I’ve only been to one Bruce concert but both are amazing performers!)
They definitely are more relaxed and in their groove then they were the first week in October when I saw them. Great to hear Bono blending in other songs with this one fabulous thank you for posting
Milton Keynes Bowl (Unforgettable Fire Tour) and Cardiff Arms Park (Joshua Tree Tour) were amazing! I lost track after that. But good to see they still have it.
I was fortunate to see two nights of the POP MART Tour. Incredible, and I took my sons one of the nights. The elevated lemon stage, and world's largest karaoke screen as backdrop. A show to remember.
During the pandemic, he was being interviewed with Dave and couldn’t recognize him with a full white beard. I don’t think I’ve seen Paul sing a song without a lens in front of his eyes for 35 years

Yeah, they were better before iPhones. My official last rock show was Tom Petty in 2017. My phone stayed in my pocket until they came out after the last song and took a final bow. Everybody else has the same crappy, shaky footage they posted on the web as soon as they could. I enjoyed the show by not trying to video it with my phone.
I had a Rolling Stones concert in 2019 ruined by some stupid girl in the next row waving her cell phone the ENTIRE show. Blocking my view. If I wasn't so nice, I would have grabbed it and threw it.

I hear what’s left of the Grateful Dead is in talks to perform there . Gerry must be rolling in his grave . Money talks and talks and talks until that’s all that’s heard
These shows really miss Larry’s drumming. His drumming is warmer and less harsh and does a better of covering the borttom end of songs with more subtle strength.
That might be talking out your ‘borttom’ there. Larry does have a stronger thump especially on kicks but this is a masterpiece of playing someone else’s songs faithfully while not enslaving yourself to their style. Top marks to Bran VDB!
I love Bono and all of U2! So glad they’re still doing concerts and am thankful I can watch on TH-cam!
Much love to my favorite band, bless you always. I’ve seen you live and it was so spiritual for me. So incredible
Nobody has a sound like The Edge! One of my all-time favorite guitarists. Love U2.

After I heard “I will Follow” in 1982 when I was in the Navy I was hooked. Man that was a fun time.
Yes
October album when I was 14....set me on the path....viva U2 🤘🏻
My song was With or Without You in 1987.
Great times!
Thank you U2 for rocking me thru the decades since highschool in 1984
It was a stunning performance, musically and visually. At certain points, it transcended into the spiritual, for me.
Friends of mine were there. So awesome! I like how the audience joined Bono.
One of the greatest bands in the world. The soundtrack of my life.
Awesome! I was at the show myself. Absolutely incredible.
Shivers,... INSTANTLY!
And your right, A Beautiful Day, It IS!
Thanks for posting!
Glad you enjoyed it!

A nod to Dave Ghahan.
How does this rock god still have his hearing? I love this man and this band. Again. Astounding Thank you U2

Gloria at the end still gives me goosebumps 😂
I love u2 best band
Thank you for sharing this performance, much appreciated, cheers!😎👍

The band sold thousands of seats for 267.00. The scalpers caused the up-pricing.

Bono is my hero. Been very lucky to have seen them 5 times, unfortunately not here as I live in the uk

Van Morrison, Paul McCartney, U2
How long has it been since GLORIA - the U2 song - was in the show?
They played it on both the last two tours.

look at all the old people in the crowd
U2 members are in their early 60’s; why are you surprised?
