  • Mutation Description: "Amon's forces are determined to claim Bel'Shir's terrazine for themselves. They will stop at nothing to prevent you from reaching Stetmann's harvesters in time to save them. Move fast as you can to catch up to your enemies and end their assault."
    Mutators:
    Concussive Attacks - Player units are slowed by all enemy attacks.
    Speed Freaks - The enemy moves faster than any unit a player has at their disposal.
    Time Warp - Enemy Time Warps are periodically deployed throughout the map.

    Advantages:
    -Orbital Strikes warp in an Unbound Fanatic that throws off damaging energy and lasts 15 seconds.
    -Shield Overcharge is now targeted, has its cooldown reduced by 50%, and costs 25 energy.
    Disadvantages:
    -Orbital Strike costs 50 energy.
    -Guardian Shell is disabled.
    Masteries: 30 Shield Overcharge Duration and Damage Absorption, 30 Speed Increase for Warped in Units, 30 Initial and Maximum Spear of Adun Energy
    Enemy Composition: Siege of Storms
    Q: Why is it called a Full Clear when you left a [Creep Tumor, Overseer, Overlord, Observer, Stasis Ward, etc] alive?
    A: The community rules for a Full Clear say that all pre-placed units and structures and whatever they create from said pre-placed units or structures are destroyed and wiped out. This does not include units spawned from scripted attack waves, map events such as the infested on Dead of Night, indestructible structures like the conduits on Void Launch, or special units or structures generated by mutators such as Purifier Beam or Laser Drill. Creep Tumors, Overseers, Overlords, Observers, and Stasis Wards are exempt.
    In addition, all main objectives and bonus objectives must be completed with no misses to the main objectives are permitted such as no shuttles missed on Void Launch, no bots destroyed on Mist Opportunities, or no damage the Temple on Temple of the Past.
    Kimmo's Notes: I remember that this is the point where I began to hit my favorite niche in doing Mutation Solos. It's to try to for full clears. Artanis would definitely be a challenge to Full Clear since he has limited options to deal with armies or bases quickly.
    It's an even bigger conundrum when his all-around option (The Dragoon) has a slow rate fire and can overkill due to its attack being a projectile. Nevertheless, you must make the most of what you have in order to succeed.
    Use the Unbound Fanatics to buy time for you to establish your army and economy. And once you hit a sizeable amount, you can use the low-energy-cost Shield Overcharges to give your Dragoons a great amount of sustain against damage which can combat Siege of Storms and their low-damage output.
    A big flaw in Artanis's outfit is his lack of mobility options outside of Nexus Legate. And Time Warp and Concussive Attacks make it incredibly tedious and difficult to be in position in a timely manner. Especially when you're so ambitious as to try and full clear a huge map using a commander with virtually no fast-travel options.
    It all comes down to knowing your timings, hope you get lucky enough to not have an untimely Time Warp mess you up, and also hope that no probes slip past your army to begin rebuilding everything. Because they do rebuild relentlessly.
