When I lived in Arizona, they created the "stupid motorist law". The stupid motorist got billed for all the rescue services. Every state should do this.
I really feel like insurance companies shouldn't honor claims of these people flooding their cars driving on the road. We all should know by now that its not the best of ideas.
This is why Arizona has a "Stupid Motorist" law. They bill for the rescue if you ignore barricades or safety personnel. And because the damage to the car happened because of violating a law, insurance companies don't cover it.

HydroLock, in the context of a vehicle engine, refers to a condition where water enters the combustion chamber of an engine, causing potentially severe damage. This can occur if a vehicle's air intake system sucks in water, often due to driving through deep puddles, flooded areas, or during water crossings in off-road situations. When water enters the combustion chamber, it cannot compress like air or fuel vapor, leading to a hydraulic lock. This can result in bent connecting rods, damaged pistons, or other internal engine components due to the immense pressure created when attempting to compress the water. HydroLock is a serious issue for vehicle engines and can lead to costly repairs or even engine replacement. Drivers should avoid driving through deep water or flooded areas to prevent HydroLock and ensure the longevity of their vehicle's engine. ~ ChatGPT
