Additional update: before starting the repair job, it's recommended that you spray generous amt of WD 40 behind the knob as well as the spring compressor component. This will save repeated effort of making the damn thing work..
Update:. Took the bike out with wife pillion, suspension works like a dream. The knob has become much smoother and suspension preload works properly.. all in all 90% improvement.
O primeiro líquido foi para dar pressão ou limparo sistema? O movimento de ficar girando foi para limpar? O movimento de girar com a chave dentro foi para testar o acionamento?
@@bikerbakertravels Was the first liquid to give pressure or clean the system? Was the spinning movement meant to clean? Was the turning movement with the key inside to test the activation?
@@sergiosouza8348 no the first was to make it function, the piston is not spring loaded hence needs to be manually pushed as seen in the video Use brake fluid dot 4 to fill the reservoir
Hello 👋, I have never opened the front part ( knob) but what I figure is that there is a lock pin on the side of the barrel and that needs to be pushed in to pull out the knob and piston. I m not sure if that is a diy job or not..
Thank you for your guide, i did refill my canister about 6ml of dot4 liquid. My preload now moves from click 2-24 and upto 10mm of max travel from previous 6mm. Total of 20min job 👍
My adjuster is stuck It doesn't push oil with less than 20 clicks, I tried to push like in the video but it didn't work. I put it on the soft, I inserted the tool to push but the piston does not go down... and it is giving the 24 clicks

I hope it works

Good effort Vivek bhai.
Nice one ... Loved the effort... Cheers 👍👍

What oil did you finally use?
@@Bud_51 Dot 4. Works perfectly
@@bikerbakertravelsDOT4 brake fluid?
New learning everyday. Good effort
Thank you for sharing Vivek bhai 🙏
Very helpful Vivek.
Did you buy your engine guards with the bulge or did you have them custom made?

Hi Sir, a question, can the black cover somehow be removed?i mean this black cover we turn
@@ninjarules2280 hi. Unfortunately I have not tried it. Also it seems to be locked. So I guess it's not removable
Good stuff bhai
Mine doesnt working after 24 clicks, no changes. Might just need to top up?
You mean even after 24 click the there is no movement on the piston compressing the spring ?
@@bikerbakertravels yes bro. And if this is only a top up, what oil did you use?
@@aldrinawit3614 you can use good DOT4 brake oil.

Hello friend, some help, it's not clicking on my bike, do you know how I can remove the button (black part) from the preload?!
Hello 👋, I have never opened the front part ( knob) but what I figure is that there is a lock pin on the side of the barrel and that needs to be pushed in to pull out the knob and piston.
I m not sure if that is a diy job or not..
Did you put oil in the hose or in the adjuster only?
In the hose as well to make sure there is no lag in twist response
@@bikerbakertravels will try to diy this, my knob only reacts after 12 turns. 1-12 turn has no resistance, but preload adjuster still works.
@@arvinsantos2002 definitely do it than. It will fix the issue
@@bikerbakertravels what oil did you use? Dot 4 brake fluid? I only have 6mm of adjustment from 0-24 clicks.
Thank you for your guide, i did refill my canister about 6ml of dot4 liquid. My preload now moves from click 2-24 and upto 10mm of max travel from previous 6mm. Total of 20min job 👍
I have the same problem. The knob is jam in maximal preload.
Try the fix. But put generous amt of wd40 on the preload driver over the spring before you start
Update: almost more than a year now the suspension works perfectly fine and the preload opens all the way to 1 cm.
My adjuster is stuck
It doesn't push oil with less than 20 clicks, I tried to push like in the video but it didn't work.
I put it on the soft, I inserted the tool to push but the piston does not go down... and it is giving the 24 clicks
Press harder. There is no mechanism apart from a screw system to push it out
thank you
Bhai ... How did u open the preload adjuster
You can't open it. You need to just disconnect the oil line and press the piston down using a screwdriver or something like that
@@bikerbakertravels acha...ok...thanks...next weekend service hai...tab try karta huu 🙏
