I’ve been driving around unable to operate the windows for weeks now until coming across this video today. Saved me tremendously!
Todd, you saved me some serious money with this trick. For those curious, when I tried my driver side button reset for my window that was not functioning properly, it didnt fix it, but going to the individual door itself and doing the reset, it worked. I had some anxiety putting the window all the way down in a possible permanent stuck position, but once it was all the way down, at first, the button wouldnt let it go up. So i held the button down for 10 seconds one way, and 10 seconds the other (accounting for the 4-5 seconds it takes for window to get all the way down or up normally), and it WORKED! thanks so much!
parked my car... took a nap.. key in the on position... headlights on... Woke up... closed the front passenger window from the driver side... closed real slow...Tried to start the car... battery was discharged.. wouldn't start and at one point system reset.. lost clock time... after AAA gave us a jump... could no longer control the front passenger window from driver side... worked ok from passenger side. With all windows closed..when I stopped the car it gave the message on the display - window open... found this video... and from the passenger side I did your procedure ... now works from driver side and passenger side... Thanks... ! ( FYI this was on a 2018 Toyota Camry)

Fantastic! This really helped me out. My situation was slightly different so I will share it here to help others. I just had my battery replaced and I have a 2008 scion TC. My drivers window worked fine but I could not put my passenger window down from the driver side. It would go down on the passenger side from the passenger switch, but the auto function did not work. I did the reset method explained here on the passenger side window, and after I did that I was able to control the passenger window from the driver side as well. Thank you!

The problem my mum had was that only the front driver side window was working from the cluster of switches near the driver. All other windows were operating, but only from their respective switches. I actually held the switches down or up for 5 seconds after the window was fully open or closed. And, the order I followed was driver side front, passenger side front, passenger side rear, then driver side rear. I think the order or sequence doesn't matter. By the way, I'm from Australia, so it would seem then that this reset method works with any 2006 Corolla.

This REALLY WORKS! 💯 THANK YOU!!! LIFE SAVER Master switch controller was not rolling all the passengers windows. Only the driver side. I followed your steps on all 3 windows and this solved the problem completely! Problem happened when I had doors opened and trying to roll up windows. Battery looked like it disengaged causing electrical confusion. Thus messing with the master control switch.
Awesome. 🥰 Killed the battery completely on my 2020 Corolla (so it works for newer cars too!) fell asleep with the key on acc so battery was destroyed and even my car’s idle information had to reprogram itself. 5secs on each window like he instructs, up and down, my windows all work and all auto up&downs work. 👍 I was dreading have to buy another car part cause I need a new blinker switch too.
It worked, thanks alot... I just knew it has to be a reset required because the lights on the individual window buttons are always blinking like when a Bluetooth is searching

I noticed that in my toyota Camry 2011, Using the window control box in the driver side, I can't control both rear passenger window and the back passenger window to right side of the driver seat. I can only control these windows using their respective control switches placed on them. So what do I do to get it sorted out?

It was new at the time and I was there for something else so I’m sure tha was a courtesy, but I don’t remember exactly what he did. It was quick so I’m sure simple. Eventually I got rid of the car. I was happy with it, but I no longer had a need for it. Carmax basically paid it off for me and I made $20 bucks.
If it worked for others ... it may work for my TCorolla 1998? I refuse to go for a third window motor just because some aka "mechanics" also, like us, refuse to read and get that 100% knowledge from the manuals. Many thanks in advance from Florida.

Thanks for video, But Auto rise and down window is least useful feature, function and design. After snow, you want crack a gap to window, the window went down all the way, snow fell through. For me, I just need to hold it on to rise or down manually. Same during rain

Used this on my rav 4 and it worked .on closing the window it had been going to the top but dropping down 2 inches.

The problem I have with your videos is the windows work down and up when you do these steps???? Try it on a window. That doesn’t move.

Do you know what is function of that button on the upper right? That's the one with the orange/red band around the button.
Its a window lock for safety, only the drivers window will work
How about if my driver side window doesn’t move at all but the back work?
