Interesting info. I'm not into diesels on my Railway but I like this superior model. Very well done and real value for money it is. But I'm eagerly waiting for your GWR Manor Class. Thanks for sharing !
It is a superior model, I have just received it in Australia from the UK in excellent condition. It is value for money and I am eagerly waiting for my GWR Manor Class thank you Accurascale keep up the good work.
Well done accurascale, top models in British railways. And not to forget irish model railways, that was the birth of two great model railway companies. Keep up the brilliant work. IRL,LIM.
I hope you guys do another batch of these, didn't get the opportunity to get one of the first batch, and I would love to be able to buy one for my layout
Nice video ! I expect my Sound Deltic (Argyle and Sutherland Highlander) any day now. What is the purpose of those chains and how are they attached ? And how can you detach them ? From the bogie or the body ? Thanks, Jan, Australia
Hi Jan, they are for the handbrake on the real thing. We have some handy guides on body and chain removal and reattachment on our website: www.accurascale.com/pages/support#reamaze#0#/kb/class-55-deltic
Excellent video. I'm still waiting for my 2 Preserved variants with sound to arrive from Rails and really can't wait and looking forward to these works of art. Really hope you do the Preserved Tulyar in the second run as well as other Preserved variants which I will purchase.
After seeing that most TH-cam videos have small bit fallen off I was relieved to get mine in perfect condition. Don't know how they make such a superior model for the price. Hope these models sell out but not inclined for another as only pull express passenger trains on East Coast. Looking forward to the other classes.
Thanks Alan! Unfortunately bad news generates clicks and we will do much better in future, but 99% of models arrive intact and we always have our warranty team to help anyone who has any issues!
I have been very impressed with your model of the deltics I hope all of them find great homes on Eastern region layouts if you are looking to add Western Region steam or diesel to your I will be very interested keep up the good work
Its a FANTASTIC model at a FANTASTIC price Steve - HOWEVER - bits falling off, noise and vibration and couplers that don't.....I'd love one but this isn't a great start for a brand that has until now never taken a mistep. I really hope these issues are dealt with before the 37 & 31.....
@@Ste1952 - I have seen lots of reviews and comments and many report issues, I wish I hadn't as I like AS products . Guess I've touched a raw nerve - without being told manufactures never improve and I don't want these issues on my 37 and 31. Don't like that > Take a hike my friend.
@@michaelwhiles5282 My point was that a small number of issues is perfectly normal for any new product, especially one that pushes boundaries well past what's been done before. With thousands and thousands of deltics out there, the vast majority are very very pleased and report zero issues. It's easy to promulgate the exceptions online, as its a self-reinforcing circle. accurascale have already stated that many of the issues learned through the 55 have already been preemptively sorted on the 37 and beyond :) Reacting to feedback and engaging with customers , the best of both worlds :)
Michael, there is a lot of positive reports on the Deltics too. Some did have issues with poor parcel packing which resulted in some parts being knocked off in transit, which we have addressed with our warehouse. The coupling pocket are at correct NEM recommended height and are only having issues coupling if dislodged from mountings. There are many, many videos to show the Deltics perfectly coupled to stock and pulling trains without issue, many with rather heavy loads on which need reliable coupling. We are helping anyone who has a speaker issue (or any other issue) with our after sales service and building improvements into future locomotives. Many thanks for your thoughts!
yes, we currently have them in pre-order and they are due in stock in about 4 weeks time! Here's a link: www.accurascale.com/collections/dcc-decoders-and-accessories

Sorry to hear that! Please send us an email support@accurascale.co.uk and we will do everything we can to help. We are taking the feedback into our future models :)
Can you please explain why Royal Scots Grey was advertised as having SILVER ROOF GRILLS & your pictures showed this on your website. But since you have received these into stock & shipped out to us all it has changed to Grey colour. I've done research about this loco & I have photo & details of when it Did Actually have Silver Grills
It only had a silver roof in preservation when it was painted. As the accurascale model is of it IN SERVICE, it has a correct Rail Grey roof. Accuracy is important to accurascale.
Hi there, as Stephen McC explained it was in service condition. We saw your video and we posted a reply explaining this but seems to have disappeared? Such a shame peco doesn’t do model trains……why? Because everything would be assembled here in uk

The Peco 009 locomotives are manufactured by Kato overseas. So, your assessment is incorrect unfortunately!
