    Just tried this and it is to die for! You're a genius, I've never tasted a more delicious combination of flavours/textures and the best thing is it's good wholesome food! I'll be making this weekly from now on 🤤

      @@HowToCookSmarter Definitely. I'm really into eating foods that have just a few, good ingredients in and now all the store bought chocolate bars taste so artificial and bland! They have tons of ingredients in them, some of which I can't even pronounce, and they only make you feel satisfaction for 2 minutes while you eat them.. and then more often than not I feel total regret and wish I'd never eaten it because I just realise what utter trash is in them!
      Whereas these snickers bars satisfy sweet cravings and also have health benefits- dark chocolate, oats, dates, almonds, peanuts are so nutrient and fibre packed it's unreal! Good for heart health, skin, muscles etc. However I suspect these still have quite few calories in as the amount of nuts per square cm is fairly high! But it's definitely 'healthy' fats and I'm sure one square a day with an apple will keep the doctor away.

      @@rebeccamclaren97 This is so true! I can't enjoy these store bought chocolates and sweets anymore, they're too sweet and too intense for my taste. So happy I found all those wonderful alternatives.

      How To Cook Smarter no actually, that’s sh- is bad for you. (Chocolate) it’s a drug in them. Chocolate has caffeine, which is a drug. You more darker the more dangerous it is, because the darker it is the more caffeine it has. Why do you think dogs dies from it ? The weirdest thing is that before they do, they have the exact same side effects as humans who is about to overdose on caffeine, shaking, very high heart beat, and then colapses and more..

      @@tearoom8362 Chocolate has a very small amount of caffeine in but the dark variety has a huge range of health benefits. My doctor told me to eat more dark chocolate as it contains a lot of iron which I was deficient in. Dark chocolate also contains tons of antioxidants and minerals, and can help reduce inflammation and the lower the risk of heart disease. As with anything, you have to watch how much you eat of it, but it's a lot lower in sugar too than your average white or milk chocolate.
      Also its not the caffeine in chocolate that kills dogs. It's a component called theobromine which builds up to a toxic level and so they won't necessarily die from eating one bar.

    I made these yesterday and can`t get enough, it`s better than the real thing. That caramel cream is something made in heaven , I can see myself using it on cupcakes or even cakes. Thank you for sharing XO

    I honestly don't know how I lived so long without a blender. Ordered one last week and it's the best thing I ever purchased! Dates blend so well in there and I've already made tons of oat flour. This recipe looks delicious!!

      Hi there! I agree, blender is such a great kitchen helper, and I think it's always better to invest little bit more money to buy a good quality one, which I actually didn't on my last purchase. I do my oat flour in coffee grinder.

      @@justinbennett379 well I bought a Nutri Bullet because it was pretty cheap and it's amazing especially for smoothies, also it has a milling blade with it that blends nuts/seeds really well.

      @@justinbennett379 I didn't know which one to get either as there are so many brands out there. Mine is quite compact but a great all rounder and great to start off with. It seems pretty sturdy and despite being affordable it feels like a good one. Not sure where you live but currys PC world has a sale on Nutri bullets atm (Uk) and argos also sell them. I got mine on ebay

    I made this yesterday. I used toasted milk powder instead of the almond meal and I added pumpkin seeds and almonds to the nougat layer to add some extra crunch. It was soooo good!!!

    Thank you so much for this recipe. These snickers bars are really delicious and healthy. To make them even healthier, I used carob powder instead of cocoa powder for the glaze. The caramel layer is so tasty that it can be used separately. You can spread it on your favourite crackers and eat them with some juice or tea.

    I'm definitely going to make these as Snickers is my favourite chocolate bar but I have put on so much weight this winter so I must try this healthy alternative instead.

      The ingredients are healthier but the calories are almost the same, so still take into account that if you're trying to lose weight it's best to avoid such treats as to not trigger yourself to crave sweets constantly.

    Amazing recipe! I did few changes. The caramel nouga tweak is much better than the original one👍thanks for sharing that. I have been craving snickers but i can't touch it from the amount of junk in it. Finally found a decent recipe that's healthy and delicious!

      الوصفة راااائعة والطعم رائع ولذيد جداً . لكن الطبقة الثانية كانت لينة معي علماً بأنني تركتها اكثر من 16 ساعة بالفريزر لكنها لم تتماسك اظن هناك خطأ ما ارتكبته . تغطية ال Coco Glase راااائعة وطعمها متجانس جداً . اشكرك بقوة 💐

      وعد عبد الرحمن .. تفضلي أختي ،، المقادير والطريقة ،، 1- في وعاء نضع 1/2 كوب دقيق الشوفان + 1/2 كوب صحين اللوز . 2- 1/4 كوب زيت جوز الهند + 3 ملاعق كبيرة عسل ( ملعقة أكل ) تخلط جيداً ثم تسكب في صينية مبطنة بورق الزبدة وتدخل الفريزر لمدة 1/2 ساعة . الطبقة الثانية : كوبين تمر منزوع النوى ينقع بماء ساخن ثم يصفى ويوضع بالفودبروسيسر يضاف له 4 ملاعق كبيرة زبدة فول سوداني + ملعقة كبيرة فانيلا + 1/4 ملعقة ملح خشن . تخلط جيداً يضاف قليل جداً من ماء التمر للخليط . تصب الطبقة الثانية على الطبقة الأولى كما في الفيديو ويرش على السطح فول سوداني محمص يضغط عليه قليلاً بالملعقة ثم يدخل الفريزر حتى يتماسك . يقطع قطع متساوية ثم تغمس القطع بالتغطيات حسب الشرح الموجود بالفيديو . التغطية المميزة ذات الطعم المميز هي رقم 2 وهي Cocoa Glaze وهي عبارة عن : 1/4 ربع كوب زيت جوز الهند . 1/4 كوب كاكاو داكن بودرة . 2 ملعقتين عسل . تخلط جيداً وتغمس فيها القطع . وبالهناء والعافية أختي .

      Hi Natasha! That would be great! It does take some time to make these bars, but they're really good and can be enjoyed out of the fridge or freezer for quite long time.

    I’m not sure if you’ll see this message as it’s been quite a while but could I substitute almond meal for almond flour? As they don’t sell any almond meal where I live. Thank you as always, this will be my 5th recipe trying from you and loved every single one so far. Keep up the hard work!
