L 19 thank you for sharing chef
You are welcome!!
I love snickers and your videos are great. Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you!! :)
I love this simple recipe plus I had everything to make it. But I would stick with the 255 F I also read in the instructions 300 if you want it firmer. I wouldn't suggest 300 it was like saffy I couldn't hardly get it out of the pan and spead it . I got to save most of it I will see how it goes.
Glad you like it!
I’m going to make these for my family reunion soon❤ can you use marshmallow cream
Awesome, no, marshmallow cream is way to soft and won't harden very well, you really need to make the homemade nougat as shown. Just practice the recipe a few times before wanting to make them for your family reunion. Good luck! Let me know how it turns out.
What can I substitute for the corn syrup?
You can try golden syrup or agave syrup.
I wish someone had a recipe for the Zagnut candy. Hershey's can't even keep them in stock.
I haven't ever eaten a Zagnut candy bar before. They have them in stock on Amazon.
Google it
They are nasty af
sure wish people would comment who have ACTUALLY MADE THIS instead of saying how good it looks.
Why wait for others, try it yourself and see if it is any good. By the way, they are awesome. And I have actually made them haha
@@inthekitchenwithmatt because i want to see if its worth making before i spend all the effort. its only on candy where i see unhelpful comments. if im looking at say fried chicken or pizza most people will say it needs more salt or it needs less X etc. if enough people say the same thing then i know not to waste my time with the recipe.
@@indiegamesonly6617 Or just take my word for it. I obviously think it is good otherwise I wouldn't have spent all the effort to make the video for it. Also just look at the ingredients, chocolate, peanuts, caramel, and homemade nougat, if you like all those things you will like this. Also, these are not cookies.
@@inthekitchenwithmatt im not taking anyones word for it .. thats why people leave reviews... ive made so many cookies that youtubers swear its amazing and it tastes horrible. why do you care if i want others opinion before i spend the effort?
@@indiegamesonly6617 I could care less haha, make it or don't I don't care. But if you are always waiting for others' opinions before you do something you could be waiting a long time and missing out on something you could have tried earlier on. These are good, period. If you don't like chocolate, caramel, peanuts, and nougat, you won't like this. If you do, you will like this, it is that simple, the only actual cooking part is making the homemade nougat. The rest is just melting and layering. Also, there is a thing called practice. I am guessing you have never made homemade nougat, now is your chance to learn how to make it. Even if you don't like it, at least you will have learned something new. But again, if you like nougat you will like this haha.
2:30 whats the right temperature?
250 to 255F (124 to 128C) I mentioned it at 2:00 and then I talk about the temp again at 10:35
