So cool
Wow its so cool🤩🤩🤩
This design is awesome, however I think that the name of the train should be more like CR252 to not confuse people, also I think the trains look similar to the R151, and the line will be operated by SMRT and be compatible with NEL creating a NEL/CRL sistem kinda like NSL/EWL but that will require a lot of cooperation between SBS and SMRT, and so the Jurong Region Line I think will be SBS transit operator
I think JRL will be operated by SBS Transit too
I don’t think they choose train names by random
NECRL
Cool new train
Wait they will have FIVE doors per car?! Is this line expected to be that much busy/frequented? If so, then that's another reason for them to build this line more quickly. Beyond 2030 is waaay too many years 😩😩
I have a question though, didn't the North East Line have so many issues with overhead power? The r151 looks amazing though.
Perhaps its to do with overhead catenaries being operated in a fully underground setting
New design is awesome will be future line cross island line and punggol extension line🎉
Zc is the best I love zc videos

who were the bidders and what were the amounts? No kawasaki or japanese designs?
Hmm. I thought bombardier was sold to Alstom? Shouldn’t it be R151 instead of CR151?
Is Kawasaki going to work together with CRRC like they did on C151A to C and T251?
No, CRL trains is just CRRC only.
no kawasaki this time

Its underground but overhead wire???
Well, several metro systems use overhead wire including Tokyo. Beijing Subway previously build their lines using third rail but nowadays new lines use overhead wire.
@@asantaraliner I'm not a fan of this solution. It's an ugly and noisy solution. The noise results from the air rushing over the wires and forming a whirling mass of air. This air turbulance results in noise. There's also a sparking noise when the line detaches as the line vibrates, as well as a sliding noise from the pantograph heads sliding along the wire.
@@Justin_W Don't worry it's underground. Also, in Singapore, it is compulsory to have Platform Screen Doors for every underground station.
@@singaporetransport1305 If it stays completely underground than, I suppose it should be okay. Other countries tend to have above ground wires because they developed earlier or have different needs and budgets. I'd hate to see our neighborhoods covered in wires with noise polluting trains.
Thanks for your update! I'm definitely relieved to hear it! 👍👍
Awarded CRRC Qingdao Sifang CCR151 (CRL) Train 🎉🎉
Too longer than 94 minutes. Ago
I'm not a fan of the pantograph solution at all! It's an ugly and noisy solution. The noise results from the air rushing over the wires and forming a whirling mass of air. This air turbulance results in noise. There's also a sparking noise when the line detaches as the line vibrates, as well as a sliding noise from the pantograph heads sliding along the wire.
The train is already producing enough noise running underground with or without third rail
I will take CR151 CRL from Hougang to Ang Mo Kio on CRL1 Open House with Zander, Ryan Au and Jayden
Me: Bright hill to hougang
The doors are mainly look like the Thomson East Coast Line but the front look kinda very very cool!
