Thank you so much for your informative video. I've just successfully changed out my front rotors thanks to your work. I've saved a bunch of $$ on mechanic labour which is important now more then ever with the cost of living going through the roof over here in Australia. One thing to note, maybe because my sockets are a bit thicker, I had to take out the bottom bolt of the control arm as it was getting in the way of me getting the top 17mm nut out and I was coming close to rounding off the nut.

Oh and for anyone using the metric system the 17mm nuts need to be torqued to 80NM and the 14mm nuts to 35NM

Although you can tell by pausing the video at certain points, I suggest that you should make a point of clarifying which end of the caliper gets the slide pin with the rubber bushing (I believe it's the lower one usually) and which end of the caliper gets the clip with the wear indicator (again, the lower one...). Since these parts fit together either way, I expect that this would often be confusing to DIYers. Especially, because if these items are installed backwards, the brakes will often work just fine at first, but then as the pads wear down you wind up with stuck pins and / or uneven pad wear.

Great video. I thought for sure there would be a bolt holding the rotors on but nope.

Do you pump the brakes after you finish installing?

Thank you I needed to know how to install my brake pads. Never knew you needed grease or to tighten the bolts to a certain lb. I have no time except the weekends to do thing and bringing it to a shop would make me broke and cut into the weekdays when I work at times to 10-11 hour shifts working.

You should mention that only silicone grease should be used on the guide pins to protect the rubber boots.
