  • Gil's Arena RIPS Charles Barkley For Defending Darvin Ham as Gilbert Arenas & The Gil's Arena Crew react to Chuck blaming players like LeBron James, Anthony Davis & Kevin Durant over coaches like Darvin Ham & Frank Vogel for the early exits of the Los Angeles Lakers & Phoenix Suns from the NBA Playoffs. Gil destroys Barkley for not taking accountability in his own career and changes his tone once he reached the NBA media on Inside the NBA.
Gil’s Arena premieres every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11:30am PT / 2:30pm ET.

Barkley's point is all these "podcaster ex-players" never put any accountability on players. They rely on players making appearances on their podcasts for views so are less critical of them. Gil is 100% one of them, pretty much always blaming coaches and GM's.

Charles Barkley always took accountability for losing and never blamed anyone else, he literally just did it on Shay's podcast the other day.

  • @emmanueloppong9778

Charles Barkley might be the only person on television I have seen take accountability consistently

Barkley has been talking about his downfalls as a player for 30 years. Just Google, fellas. It's not that hard.

  • @darrellbarnes1171

Y'all know Gil is on LBJ payroll, and one of his fanboys!

Gil went on a rant dissing Barkley just to reiterate his point lol .

  • @Mynameismurph

Gil is literally makings Barkley’s point 😂😂😂. Hes saying “it’s the players fault Gil 🤦🏾‍♂️” I blame the Arizona wildcats for not making him go to class!

I forgot that Gil won championships and never brought guns into the locker room

  • @Welcomelatet

The league doesn't want to play with LeBron

  • @Universal_Bias

Charles was just on Club Shay Shay talking about how many mistakes he made.

  • @paaulaio12

Aaaaaand this is why Gil is a podcaster not on mainstream TV. it went from Barkley saying what he thought was unfair for a COACH! And Gil turns it around “well you were a bad player” 🤦🏻‍♂️ Barkley speaking about Ham, Gil talking about Charles past😂😂😂anything to deflect away from the real problem ..

  • @HuffStars

Bro Barkley been repeating the accountability shit for years lol. He clearly said he shouldn't of even been hoopin in Houston lol. Gil trippin

  • @MagneticIce06

Bro he calling out Barkley is the reason why Barkley said it’s the players, 🤦🏾‍♂️ Gil never said the coaches who coached Barkley..lol

Everything is not Darvin Hams fault. We have to get out of this all or nothing culture. Its either the coaches fault or the players.. its everybody's fault. Hams rotations, play calling, game management and adjustments were not good. Bruh LA was running last years adjustments in this years playoffs and didnt add anything other than 1 defensive recovery scheme. The team and the execs were not confident in the coach...that was the issue and LA was a 48 win team. Injuries played a role, i think a healthy Vando and Reddish significantly improves the defense and give AR and Rui more offensive energy. With all that said, its unfortunate but I get it.

Gil acting like a female right now. He acts like Barkley isn’t allowed to criticize players. That’s literally in his current job description. He’s not a player anymore! How he performed back in the day is no longer relevant.

  • @mituscustoms7796

Gil calling the kettle black is hilarious

  • @ellouisemiller4534

Too much responsibility on the coaches, as opposed to the players!

  • @mikeadams-dh2ol

Barkley never makes it personal he keeps it about basketball, Gil killed it when his first word was “I don’t like him”

  • @jovanihernandez1948

gil’s entire beginning has nothing to do with what charles was talking about, dude argues like a little kid and you can tell he’s still that same crybaby he was when he was 24, 15 years later

Coaches don't miss or hit buzzer beaters. Players deserve to be held accountable.
