That's not a bad regime at all but don't forget to put a little light grease on the hinge pin, very important with a shotgun like a Browning that has a full width hinge pin with a large bearing surface. A pair of cotton gloves is a good idea also when wiping down with a little light oil to ensure no finger marks are left on the steel prior to storage.

Ballistol is no more than cooking oil it will not stay on the metal
I usually Supplement the cleaning with some light ceramic gun oil when it’s needed. What do you use?
