I've a 1 year old son and I'm trying to make sure he hears "good" music, so ya know I play all the classics to him, the beatles, the stones, the doors, sound garden Pearl jam nirvana etc etc. But anyway he seems to have the same love for Chris as I do because throughout this song he was smiling and clapping and as soon as it finished MELTDOWN! I mean inconsolable until I restarted it. I'm no child psychologist but I think my kid has a bright future.
Great parenting. Music is key to life. Keep up the great work. Some 30 years ago my daughter loved song LoLa, Kinks. I swore she sang the chorus before she even said mama or dada. LOL When ever we would get into the car, she would scream LoLa, Lo La, LoLa, I mean full on meltdowns, until I put the cassette on. Once she could speak words she was singing other lyrics too.
It works, lol. I babysat my niece constantly from the time she was born til she ended up going to kindergarten, we would constantly listen to pearl jam, sound garden, the killers and a ton of others that i grew up with while coloring or playing. She absolutely loves them to this day and has to have it played when she comes to visit now. makes me proud she isn't listening to a lot of the absolute garbage that is being released now.
