Michele, I think I may have been subscribed to Kayla and Aunt Penny before I discovered your channel. They are such fun! They find the greatest places to shop! I love stained vintage dishes. I have several small sets of those with different flowers and think they would blend easily with your all white for spring/summer. I have never been able to resist the larger stained platters with flowers! You displayed all your finds beautifully! Don’t know what it is about that old brown jug ($10) on your table but I really love that thing.😅
I know I have been watching them for awhile so you can understand what an honor it was to do this collab with Kayla. Dawn and I feel so blessed by her precious kind heart. We just adore her and Aunt Penny, they just make thrifting so much fun! I really did love those dishes with the flowers, I just wanted them because how stained they were but my space is limited. Like I said, I felt like God sent his angels to make me look down at those Tupperware bowls because that sweet bowl crock was sitting right there!!! I never look at the tupperware! The ironstone one? I was shocked on how reasonable it was. When I saw it was ironstone I was so tempted to get it but living in such a small space my room is limited. I will admit I probably made a mistake leaving it behind. It was amazing!
Great finds! Enjoyed tagging along today😊 When I'm not sure about a piece i just use google lens and see if i can find anything, most times you'll find out something about the piece, such a neat little thing to have on your phone. It has come in really handy at our thrift store when we get donations or estate hauls in. We can use it to find out the age and other things about the piece and comp pricing. I've used it on most pieces that I have personally. Anyways, love how you've styled all the pieces. You really have some amazing pieces and a beautiful home!

Hello sweet friend thank you so much for coming over from Kayla‘s channel. It is such a blessing to us. I don’t do a lot of thrifting in the Edmond area but I do know they have a lot of good thrift stores there or that’s what I’ve been told. The stores that I frequent are more in the Midwest city area.. I usually go to the Goodwill‘s in that area but my favorite is called Value Village in Del city Oklahoma. On Thursdays they have the half price days- Sometimes you can find some great stuff and sometimes things are really picked over. In Oklahoma City they do you have the Goodwill bins if you’ve never check that out it’s an experience. I will try to find or look up some good thrift stores in the Edmond area and let you know.

Like I said, I felt like God sent his angels to make me look down at those Tupperware bowls because that sweet bowl crock was sitting right there!!! I never look at the tupperware! I was so happy to find it to bring it home with me to love!! So thankful for that blessing. Aren't those sweet deer the best. Oh, I want them so much but the price made me second guess getting them. My favorite place to thrift is a thrift store that has half price days and it never fails that there is a treasure hidden there for the best price. The ironstone one? I was shocked on how reasonable it was. When I saw it was ironstone I was so tempted to get it but living in such a small space my room is limited. I will admit I probably made a mistake leaving it behind. It was amazing!
Great finds! Enjoyed tagging along today😊 When I'm not sure about a piece i just use google lens and see if i can find anything, most times you'll find out something about the piece, such a neat little thing to have on your phone. It has come in really handy at our thrift store when we get donations or estate hauls in. We can use it to find out the age and other things about the piece and comp pricing. I've used it on most pieces that I have personally. Anyways, love how you've styled all the pieces. You really have some amazing pieces and a beautiful home!

I visit Edmond Ok often. And I would love to know the name of the thrift store and antique stores you visit. I came over from Kayla’s channel and I am a Alabama girl myself.
Hello sweet friend thank you so much for coming over from Kayla‘s channel. It is such a blessing to us. I don’t do a lot of thrifting in the Edmond area but I do know they have a lot of good thrift stores there or that’s what I’ve been told. The stores that I frequent are more in the Midwest city area.. I usually go to the Goodwill‘s in that area but my favorite is called Value Village in Del city Oklahoma. On Thursdays they have the half price days- Sometimes you can find some great stuff and sometimes things are really picked over. In Oklahoma City they do you have the Goodwill bins if you’ve never check that out it’s an experience. I will try to find or look up some good thrift stores in the Edmond area and let you know.
