Easton is a good shopping buddy! It's so sweet that he wanted the trophy for his grandpa's grave. One of my grandsons loves to go to the antique stores with me. It is fun to take him and always drawn to the most interesting things. Thanks for taking us along with you

Easton is SO sweet! HIs nature is so kind and caring. When he said that he was going to put the trophy on his grandpa's grave, it just tugged at my heart strings. He also makes me smile-he's been watching how you and your sister style things and he is giving suggestions. :) Your new treasures fit into your decor so nicely. Thanks for sharing the Bible verse. One of my favorite verses. (I display Bibles from my and my husband's growing up years. I have a few little new testament Bibles and was on the lookout for a little white Bible. I found one at our local thrift store for 50 cents. Makes my little heart so happy.)

The cedar chest you showed is exactly like my moms was and now my sister has it. I will never forget the smell of that chest and thefun my cousin I had of going through all the things my mom had in it. The black small glass is Tiara. I have several pieces of the black and amber Tiara pieces. It was expensive back when it first came out. We did Tiara parties and ordered it that way. Loved seeing Easton helping you, he is the cutest little guy!♥️♥️

All of your finds were great! Love the little creamer. They are getting hard to find. The lilacs are my favorite because they remind me of my mother. I would help her cut from her bushes of purple and white. The smell was always wonderful.

Black glass often has a colored undertone. If you hold it up to sunlight you may see red, purple, or blue. I think this glass is made by Indiana Glass. Worth about $15-20

Hey guys! love that Easton is having fun with his Auntie! I like that he is enjoying this as much as you! Chamber pots are pretty but now that I know they were someone's toilet hahahaha i don't take them home. I enjoy seeing things from my childhood too. The mini tureen is my favorite item you brought home. All the pieces are pretty but I have a weakness for tureens. OH it melted my heart....worlds best Grandpa for his grave. Oh Angie, I am laughing so hard! I had a metal one that I brought home and filled with flowers and when my Mother seen it she was like....MICHELE!!!!! Do you know what THAT IS??? Eason is so cute and smart..i giggled so hard when he said the doll stand might be tweezers😂 Kids say the funniest & cutest things! Milk glass also bcomes in blue, pink, yellow, brown and black!b It didn't list red. Isn't that interesting?! I looked it up after you asked, i wanted to know myself since i do collect the white. That probably was A black piece of milk glass! Love the chance pot, i want one of the old metal white trimmed in red, like my granny had. I have one of the pots used to cook in and i want more to put on my step back. Loved the cedar chest & buffet❤ Those wooden pencils are so cute, unique. Friend I couldn’t agree with you more! I have a love/ hate relationship with autocorrect! 🤣 Most of the time I’m trying to type “so much” in my comments and it almost always changes it to “ smooch”💋! WHY?? I’m sure I’ve left the smooch comment on my replies many times before catching it to correct! 🤦🏻♀️ Hopefully my friends won’t unfollow me for that one!!! I’m so glad it happens to others and not just me! Laughter is always good for our soul!! 🤍🤍🤍
Wow, you found some really nice things this trip! I love the pitcher❤ and of course you styled it beautifully. I needed that verse, my best friend who I had been friends with for almost 29 years told me she couldn’t be friends with me anymore, it was over a very small misunderstanding, it has left me feeling very disposable to the people I love and trust and unloveable! I am struggling greatly with it😢. Easton is beyond precious and quite the thrifter!!!
I can empathize with you about feeling very disposable to people. There is ONE that sticks with us and I try to turn it over to him. Praying for your comfort and peace!
