- 🖤Today I have a fun video for ya'll, we go thrifting and antique shopping and although I didn't find lots of vintage Valentine's I did find some vintage Christmas. It's always a good day for that! I also want to inspire you on what I look for to decorate my home for Valentine's Day and how I shop my home. I hope today will give you lots of inspiration.

Good morning my beautiful sweet friend. I love all your beautiful items. What a great way of using your God given talents in you amazing DIY projects. Since I am stuck inside from the accident I decorated my house yesterday for Valentine’s Day using all items I already have. I used a red floral curtain panel and cut it in half and used it as a throw on my sofa and love seat. I can just see your beautiful valentines cards out on a tray on your trunk. God bless. I was repurposing so many of them into jewelry to wear in different ways....I loved doing that but so many were so beautiful I just had to leave them as is. I'm just drawn to those beautiful pieces! Love, love, love the vintage valentine jewelry on the velvet box. The velvet makes the pieces look very elegant. What a great idea. I've never seen anybody do that before. I've seen the vintage jewelry made into a framed wall display for Christmas. It's the shape of a Christmas tree on velvet and they use a pearl necklace or rhinestone necklace to make the outline. Inside, they arrange pins, earrings, etc. I think you could do the same thing with a heart. That valentine card from your sister Tammi is precious and priceless. You have a wonderful collection of valentine jewelry and cards. You are so creative and crafty.

Yes, isn't Perkins the sweetest looking town? I was on my way to Stillwater to go to the Antique Mall, I haven't been in years until last summer and enjoyed it so much I decided I would go back. Oh, wow! Are y'all from Stillwater or Perkins? Stillwater is where we lived for decades, but my husband is a pastor in a town in the Panhandle now. I instantly recognized Perkins!
No, I was just on my way to do some shopping in Stillwater, it's always been one of my favorite towns. I just love the old downtown part of Perkins, I think it's such a pretty town. I loved it when they had that old department store on the corner, it's now gone but gosh I wish I had gone in there when it was open.
