I would’ve did it, we are talking the multiverse , so if keiynan lonsdale doesn’t want to come back get another Wally west or patty spivot. I legit burst into laughter when I saw that clip. As bad as the Flash got it never had a moment that made me laugh at something so hilariously terrible. I can't wait to see how season 8 is even worse.
I know right.. Hadn't watched this show since something like season 2. This just looks ridiculous. All the 'godspeeds' falling over to cg lightning as if they were grunt solders of a 90s power ranger episode overacting for an explosion.....

My only real problem with the flash season 7 is that they very clearly binged the Fast and Furious series before writing it and decided 'Family' was gonna be the word they wrote the season around. Their were some actually good ideas for storylines but they couldn't wrap them up. It's such a shame because season 6 was pretty good and 7,01 and 7,02 were impeccably good.
my only real problem with the flash season 7 is that it's well... The flash. I wouldn't mind if it was something else but you gotta rise your standard when it comes to your favorite comic character you know?

@@typeouetco1626 Yeah it does feel like they all of a sudden wanted to be something else, I like all of the seasons, but 1 and 2 feel like they're from the same series. 3 feels different, 4 feels different, 5 and 6 feel like they're from the same, and 7 feels different, with the main problem being they already had the sweet spot. This one felt a lot more like team flash meets Legends and Supergirl

Being a flash fan has been like being in an abusive relationship, since S3. It just never gets any easier, and I can’t quit the show for some sad reason.
Same lmao. It's gotten so bad that the show is legit even worse than the crappiest soap opera. Yet, for some reason, i can't stop watching it. At this point, I'm practically begging cw to make season 8 at least a little bit good. Recently, i've become more of a animated and comic flash fan because of this.

Much like the arrowverse I quit after s3. This is why I hate tv shows. There always this BS misunderstanding which cause problems so it can drive the plot or some kind of lover quarrels that last and is resolve at the end of the season which is usually brought up again in the next season.

Admittedly, I did enjoy season 4. Elongated Man is one of my favorite heroes and the Thinker was a pretty good villain (and, thankfully, not a speedster). But, yeah, since then it's been... not great. Even season 3 I didn't enjoy a huge amount (Vibe and Kid Flash were welcome surprises, Killer Frost was good in that seasons before becoming annoying later).
@@reili5098 This isn’t really so much of a problem with TV shows in general but the CW as a whole. Out of all of the tv companies that make tv shows be it for cable or for streaming, the CW seems to be the only one permanently stuck in 2003 with the typical 26 episode filler soap opera drama that were popular back then but has since lost relevancy for over a decade now. The CW just refuses to evolve as a network and it shows in the quality of their tv shows. Especially with the Arrowverse.
I imagine the call was a bit worse than that, "Not only are you renewed, since you are now carrying the entire Berlantiverse on your back you need to tie in every show you have as part of a five-part crossover just to start your next season".

I haven’t watched the Flash since season 5. I kind of lost ways to stream it but then they sacked Hartley Sawyer in a way that was quite cruel but ironic in that they couldn’t give an actor a second chance to redeem himself when his whole arc on the show was about redemption.
But! Just seeing those clips of it made me see that I ain’t missing much.

Considering the season was only 15 episodes this time around (18 if you count stuff from last season), I really think it ACTUALLY would've benefitted from not having two different story arcs. Superman and Lois did one coherent story over the same amount of episodes

They moved away from stories about Barry..season by season got more woke about “sending a message”, virtually became the Iris is perfect show and will explain to that bad Barry what he is always screwing up, feelings in hallways, the entertainment value tanked..,and like so much put out today..became trash with no original or rewatch value… The flash is a fantastic character with decades of stories in comics. You have to work super hard to tank it ..and they did…

As a crew member on the show I can tell you we make fun of the scripts just as much. I read them telenovela style to my coworker! But I do love working on the show, it’s a lot of fun and the cast and crew are so amazing 💕

It seems they’re stepping it up with armageddon hopefully that stays all season I’m really hoping we don’t get Bart or either of the noras again and so far there hasn’t been anything as bad as “infinite velocity will soon be mine”

It was really bad, my love for the CW is dying slowly. Even Legends of Tomorrow is starting to lose is spark. How the hell was esperanza able to save her mother from dying, without any side effects? Barry saves his mother and everything goes to shit.

It's gotten to the point where I would watch all the shows to just barely watching The Flash and kind of loving Legends of tomorrow but even that's starting to fall. It's not just the arrowverse either, same goes for the mcu. Right now I'm just focusing more of my free time to games and anime.

Didn't the showrunner say they could go on for 8 more seasons? I feel so bad for the actors. Clearly, they do not enjoy what they do anymore. You can see that, especially in Iris. The woman is unfazed by literally everything.

I think I lost hope at the end of season 5, this must truly be an accurate reenactment of the show runners and writers on this show behind the scenes these days. It was just TOO REAL!! the sizzle real would make for a season long teaser trailer…of what awfulness (Catwoman level) awaits.

The writers have always been high after the main plot. Everything else went to pure chaos, which redefined the show. It’s just that it works well

Honestly the Arrowverse is on its way out. Flash gets worse every season, Batwoman hasn't had any good seasons, Supergirl is on its last season and it's been the worst one, legends is probably the best one because it has a reputation for taking nothing seriously since season 1. Arrow had bad seasons (mainly 4, 6 & 7) but even those are better than what the CW is currently putting out. Keep Stargirl, Doom Patrol and Superman & Lois as far away as possible. (Also fuck Titans).

Remember when this show was good in S1, then great in S2 then back to good in S3. S4 was underrated S5 was meh. Half of S6 was ok and the other half (post crisis) was slightly less than meh. And season 7 was just bad.
