    I heard coughing. Nurgle showed his approval for what you are doing.

    Instead of the balsa wood you could just use the plasticsprues of the kit.

    To help me remember polarity I made a little tool. I took a plastic rod about an inch long and put sharpie all down one half and glued a couple magnets onto the rod so that they'd fit. I can have a little stack on either end and know whats up too which is nice. Helps me keep it consistent through entire armies like marines

    I have never seen someone use baking soda like this, that was an excellent tip!

      I learned it from Adam Savage on his channel Tested during the video One Day Build Blade Runner Binoculars. Some times ones youtube addiction learns you some things. (just not spelling or grammar)

      Joe White that is awesome thank you I am posting your video on our social media. Any parts of the guid I could have done better?

    • @joewhite4234
      @joewhite4234 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Better, no. I did some things a little different, such as using greenstuff to build up around the magnets. That was because the greenstuff was within arms reach, and I would have had to get up to get baking soda.

    Why not use green stuff or milli-put to build up a case around the magnets to hold them in place instead of the baking soda trick? Just curious.

      Just showing off another method of creating structure.

      I hadn't seen the baking soda trick with plastic miniatures before, although had seen it used on other materials like wood, but I can see some benefits of it. Green Stuff takes a long time to cure, at least over night if not 24 hours but the baking soda + superglue cures in seconds. Plus baking soda is probably a lot cheaper. I don't know what the shelf life is for green stuff or milli-put but baking soda as a dry powder should it will last a very long time.

      @@baz3087 I have not had the baking soda fail. That being said supper glue is brittle. Another fun way to use this trick is to make snow. - Aaron

    5mm and 2mm magents maybe I am not searching right but I can't seem to find these

    this seems very informative, but for whatever reason I can't fast forward or rewind this video.
    I've tried other TH-cam vids, but this is the only one I can't skip through.
    and then, once it started covering something that was new to me (using baking soda), the video restarted back to the beginning!
