Do you know if there's a place at the waterfall where you can change back into dry clothes afterwards?

Hey, yea there is, there are about 5 little stalls you can change in. It's not the nicest changeroom but it's behind closed doors so that's good enough I guess😂

@estleentjie8062 haha that's good enough. Thank you so much. We are going to Thailand in less than 3 weeks and I have such high anxiety traveling that I need to know every step of how I'm going to get anywhere and getting to the waterfall is one of those places. 😅 been debating about hiring a driver or taking a train too. 🥴

@@LoveBird0709 I get you! Thailand is super easy to navigate. Look at websites like 12goasia for bus and train and van tickets, it's cheap and super organised :)

nicely filmed, I leave from Thonburi station. 07:50. can i go back to bangkok in the evening? the waterfalls are beautiful but I can't walk much so it's a shame to enter them. or is the first level doable?

I'm sorry I'm not sure about that return trip, I've only done this one, I think that will be possible but can't confirm for you.
For entering the waterfall - there are steps up the side which aren't very steep and you can take it slow but it's pretty slippery at the top so if your reason for not walking far is from injury rather avoid the slippery parts as falling there or even feeling like you're going to fall could be a bit rough on your back. The bottom area is easily accessible to swim in but I'm still not sure if that's for adults or not - I swam in it but I only really saw kids and people with kids in the water with me.

Thanks - always wondered about such a day trip. What was the round trip time (total hours start to finish). I assume you can take the train there, spend the night and go back the next day. Do you remember the cost for the train?

It's 240B for the aircon cabin which is very worth it, it has better seats, legroom and obviously aircon.
Total time was around 12hrs. If you stop somewhere along the route just let the train people know so they don't assume you got lost, they will be fine if you just say you're getting off. It stops at the Kanchanaburi station on the way back to BKK, you obviously need a new ticket to go back the next day but if you're happy to pay then you can get off and do exactly what you said :)

@@estleentjie8062 Thanks for this. I’m a solo traveler and I’ve often thought about a trip to the area but not part of a group. This will give me the flexibility to stop and stay as I wish.
