- Join me on the first run of my 2024 northern Maine marten trapline. We check a few traps, cover some beautiful country, and run into one interesting character I didn't expect to see! Enjoy!
Thanks for putting this up. Just started trapping here in central Maine and have been watching your videos and listening to your podcast for tips and inspiration.
Jeremiah your voice is the voice of trapping! I love it man!!! THANK YOU!!!!

Collaboration definitely!Joe is the man you two will get along swimmingly
I really enjoy the podcast and these videos Jeremiah, and I live vicariously through you and your trapline. Here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan we have a conservative catch rate and a very short season for Fisher and Marten, thanks for sharing your time on the line.
Collab. Yes. Your channel was an inspiration for me to get outdoors after having health issues. Thank you
I am so glade you are videoing your trap line!! Thank You!!
Good luck out there! Looking forward to the collaboration with you and Joe!
Glad you're filming, my favorite trapping videos. I've been watching pretty much since the start

Hey Jeremiah, I follow Joe but more than happy to subscribe to your channel too. Looking forward to seeing your trap season. Watching from Manitoba Canada
You are gonna love this channel
You and joe on your podcast would be awesome Jeremiah.i have been watching his ice fishing videos for a couple of years.great fella also.
Collaboration I vote yes
Collaboration! Sounds good!
Joe Holland very good guy been subbed to his channel for a few years now. Love his ice fishing content.
The ground don't seem to be boggy in that area.
When l was in Maine back in the 80's l remember from Gold Road back to Rainbow Lake then from Rainbow Lake down the Appalachian trail to
Mt. Katahdin was nothing but boggy ground.
That's cool how you found each other👍
Yes, collaboration with Joe!
Great video. Thanks for sharing. What's your favorite marten lure for early season?
warm weather here too just started setting for marten/fisher.
Good run on a 5 day check that's great we are 24 hr on our cage's 72 on any kill trap sets keep your trapping association strong so you can keep those rules get other's to join the Numbers matter in the fight to keep doing what you're doing
It's been a tough warm dry season
It would be nice if you would say the date of the video, that way we know how long ago it was. Great video!
There's a guy , Joe Holland that's trapping and he found some of your traps within 50 feet of traps he set opening day. You and he might want to get together.. He knows your traps from you tube...
They met up already
haha hey Bob, keep watching you'll see Joe
On the board great
Good to see ya back out on the line. Wasn’t sure you’d film this year so it makes me happy to see ya out there. Congratulations on the nice catches. Enjoy the day👍👍
Thanks 👍
Most likely a question you get a lot. Do you ever forget where you have put a trap?? Ok you kind of said!
Haha yeah....GPS, a notebook and flagging tape
@@trappingtoday 👍🏼👍🏼
You my friend have are man good
Nothing worse than a eye ache need safety glasses when in the bush
You set up on joe. If you don't colab you're foolish. Hes more of a gentleman than most of us would be..
@guidoguido8677 I've actually been trapping those exact spots for years. Joe is new to the area and set earlier in the season, further back from the road than me. I didn't see his traps when I set mine. I did pull those traps. Nobody owns traplines in Maine. I probably won't trap there in the future, lots of other ground to trap up here, no sense in us trying to catch the same fur.
