Looks like another great day out on the line. To bad about the truck getting stuck. But at least ya got her out. Really enjoyed this season. Great mix this year. Been great. 👍👍
I’ve lost 2 Leatherman Waves in my lifetime. Still sad about both and still occasionally look for them if I’m in those areas 😂 3rd one is on my hip now.
At 16,500 miles mine are half worn out. Very poor quality. I would never have selected them. They came on the new truck. B.F. Goodrich radial all terrains are great.
In my experience Goodyear tires come new with less tread than comparable tires - by the specs on their own website compared to others. Sometimes they are also smaller than other tires of the same size. They do whatever possible to save materials and work towards the next tire sale.
@@brentleary2227 That is great wear for a truck tire. What type of truck do you have? Do you keep them rotated? A friend in northern Ontario has great success with the same tires. We cannot understand the difference in experience. Mine are on an F-350 diesel, kept inflated, and rotated every 5,000 miles. Yes they are the correct load rating and ply rating. Just rotated them on 12/22 and was surprised at the tread depth. I am considering replacing them while they have some salable value. Recently looked at prices for new BFG - about $1,800 out the door! Bought a new set for wifey’s Expedition - $1,291. Not complaining because it is a privilege to drive what we choose for our needs. Merry Christmas!
Glad you're back.I trally enjoy your vids. The other guys and their 10 minute vids why bother? Great job.Yeshua Is The Way, The Truth and The life. Have a great Holiday Season.
@@steveneddy9492 I trapped back in the 70s too. The most for muskrats was $7.85, but a high average. Averaging 3 foxes a morning at $100 each paid for a lot of law school books. Our tiny FTA chapter held a small fur auction and sold more than $41 thousand in a few hours. I want a time machine to go back!
It would be more time and energy consuming to bring bait and spare trap to all 70 sets just incase I make a catch. You're only seeing the few occasions where I make catches. I don't mind going back to the truck in those few cases. Takes maybe 2 minutes.
Guys asking about furs covering gas expenses either don’t understand the adventure and interaction with nature or simply cannot afford to go trapping. Many guys spend far more in an evening of strippers and beer, or just a weekend of beer.
Good day on the trap line
for sure
Wowwww what a day !!! Congratulations, enjoy watching your channel
sure was! thanks!
You worked hard but were rewarded with some good catches.
some days it pays off!
I love your videos. You come across as the kind of guy that I would enjoy hangin' out with 🙂

Haha yes they are a necessary tool for me!
I think you really did good today
You should promote your lures and anything else. It’s your trap line, your lure, your success, and your excellent videos. What could be better?
Thank you I appreciate that!
👍
Wonder which one gave you the most satisfaction??? The great fisher catches or getting out of that messy situation ??😅
Haha good question.....both felt great!!!!
Beautiful fisher. How much do you get for a fisher.
not as much as i think we should. probably average $20-30 this year.
Would you sell me one for say, 30 or 40.
I really enjoy these videos! Thanks for taking us along!
Thank you!
Are those 110 Conibear traps or 220
Can a weasel still be brown in December?
As far as tires go.....Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac w/ kevlar. Fantastic tires

@@swampwhiteoak1 mine have about 25k on them and are hardly worn. And , I am off road quite a bit. Sorry you had a bad experience

@@swampwhiteoak1 I've always had good luck with them. To each their own I guess. Good luck to you sir

Здравствуйте. Какая у вас цена на куницу?
Does your todays harvest even cover your gas money for one day of gas ??

@@swampwhiteoak1 I used to trap as a teenager back in the 70's. Back when you could get $8 bucks for a nice Muskrat.

You talk about time management and then walk back and forth because you never take anything with. Just pointing that out. Great videos.
-tight chains

A male fisher will be like a raccoon, he will reach in with his front foot and grab a piece of bait.
Mice probably eating Your bait..
