I will pop it open when it's time for a new battery. It is a watch from the late 1980s / early 1990s so hopefully it will last a long time. I don't know how or if the dampening mechanism needs to be serviced or even serviceable.

After learning about its (5S21 movt) existence, i am obsessed with it. Too bad where i am it is very very hard to find a specimen (those that exist are goddawful ugly lol)
