I’ve been to K7. The Klingons really messed up the pool and the bowling alley. But the bar is top notch now that they’ve gotten all the tribbles off the station.

Yes... I very much would love to see more space station videos.
K-7, I imagine would have a memorial habitat for the Klingon Empire visitors... Complete with a monument of The Great Tribble Purge... To honor the Klingons' achievements, of course.

Yes because the TOS era is vastly becoming more interesting, budget restraints of the 60's show hiding a vast amount of stuff that we didn't get to see.

I personally like that style. Even though it was designed before the ISS was I my opinion you can see that there is some evolution from ISS to the K series. I'd enjoy seeing more space station content. DS9 and Babylon 5 were some of my favorites growning up. Different points of view and both equally entertaining.

K7 was the first station i thought looked like a station till they showed Earth Station 1 i always thought K7 was a little small but was an awesome introduction in to a federation trading post I would love to see more on Federation Space Stations and how they evolved from ISS to DS9 I think that would be an awesome episode =)

The K station was such a quirky, bubbly, "This is what space looked like to people in the '60s" model. I'd love to see it show up again. :) Definitely keep doing station videos; I'd love your take on whether it's the station in ST:TMP or ST:TWOK in which everything is upside down.
Question though--what's your perspective date for these videos? When you say that you can still visit station K7 "today", when is "today"?

I've always called this station the "google Krome icon 7 " because of the weird markings on the station's disk that make it look like it's retractable.

And here I thought that was a standard Federation base station design, the one in "Trouble with Tribbles" was *named* K-7, since it was the 7th on the border with the Klingon Empire. The same ones on the Romulan border would be labelled R-?.

Oh, I don't believe it! It's the AMT Interplanetary UFO Mystery Ship at minutes 6:16 and 9:20! I had that model (glow in the dark, no less) when I was a kid. Being a Star Trek nut, I incorporated it into my personal Star Trek universe and created an alien species to crew it. Nice to see it flying in your Star Trek universe as well.

Thank you for this back story. I asked you for it once and you came through. They almost look like parts of starship. Too bad the Federation wouldn't listen to Starfleet when it came to arming the stations. You do a great job writing out the stories 👏 👍 😀.

Fitting end to k7 as long as there was no tribbles
Side note the top view of the station looked a little like the liberator from brakes 7
    Keep up the good work

The K class is rather unique, though I always thought in my mind that the modules on eack of those arms could be unclamped from the main station body in case of an emergency and sort of have their own sort of propulsion system to evacuate personnel, but also keep whatever they housed safe as well, because on some angles they look like the fronts of starships with the long neck attached to the station - just my thoughts anyway, ha ha.
Was nice seeing a Walker class in the vicinity of the station as well, it was a lovely treat

I would absolutely love more space station videos. To me it sparked a question about how they would be built out in the extreme edges of Federation territory. Considering the standardized format so many stations, construction likely happened in a shipyard & transported to it location. Perhaps because I love to Ptolemy transport ship or because it was visible in one of the first scene of the video that is immediately what came to mind.
Obviously building sections to be transported & assembled, but what if it was towed complete. On the upper saucer there is a protrusion that looks like it is the same diameter as the Ptolemy cargo clamp. If the station was flipped on its axis with the upper saucer below the Ptolemy saucer and the arms in a Y pattern.

The K7 class station came with a small enterprise model . The Enterprise is 900 feet long . That is 300 meters .
That is showing the statio to be n a mile in diameter at least .
The tech manual has 20th century versions of specifications .

What about K-13? If you play a TOS-Fed, one of your missions will take you to K-13, where you encounter neural parasites and Na'Kuhl temporal agents. At the end of the mission the station is sent into the past to be rediscovered in 2410.
