Edna, I was thinking the SAME THING! I want to break out some of my larger beads and thicker wire to see how this technique works with those for more statement-like charms. I'm so glad you appreciate this. I'd love to see your flowers when you get some made!
I had forgotten about this one. I watched it when you first did it and made a bunch for my journal dingle dangles. Now I forgot where I put them so off I go in search. And I remember your cat going thru her heat cycle. Of I remember the days. It seemed like they whined forever and now it's just a memory.
Ha. I understand the whole making-it-then-losing-them-thing. It happens to the best of us! I don't even know what's floating around on my desk under all the junk. We got Artemis fixed not long after this. None of us could take the yowling anymore. It's only been a few months, and it already seems like a distant memory too. Isn't that funny?
I absolutely LOVE making beaded flowers of all kinds. I fine tuned my search words and found your easy-to-follow, free tutorial. It far exceeded my expectations 🙂. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. You rock!
This was a really cute tutorial... You gave me an idea... Also, your round nose pliers are really good for that pushing/feeding the wire through on a curve, so as not to pull and kink your wire. Thanks!
I'm so glad that you found some value and inspiration in this!! Yay. Thank you for letting me know and for the suggestion as well. I really appreciate it!
Yay! I'm so glad you found this helpful. Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions. And, feel free to share your creations and how you use them. I'd love to see how you make your garden grow ;)

Aw, thank you Virginia! This is just one way to make flowers. And, I'm not using seed beads. So, you might want to also look at some other tutorials too to make sure. I know that there are some thread and seed bead techniques that might work better than this wire and larger (than seed beads) bead technique. I do appreciate your kind words.
You're going to laugh. I better check to make sure I'm subscribed to you because I can't lose this video which is what I did thank goodness this time I found you because if I don't get this project done for this person I'm going to go crazy. So I crossed my fingers, and hoped this time I could find you. Thankfully I did
Haha you answered. I was planning on writing a bit more, but it's disappointing when your comment gets ignored. Years ago I tried this with a couple of videos that only had beaded flowers as a component. They were impossible, and frustrating. I tried it more then once too. I know I hoped someone would have made a better video by this time. Your way is simple, easy, fast, and doable (is that a word?)
Aw, thank you! There are no kitties in my house that like their tummies rubbed - at least not for more than a couple of strokes. Ha!Thanks for watching at taking the time to comment!
Love it!!! I get confused about the direction of creating wired loops when for example creating a pendant so that the bead that you created for example I don't want it to be veering to the left or right; I want it to be facing front wards and sitting flush on the neck.
How can I purchase about 30 of these?? Do you sell your creations? I really really love these flowers they are so perfect for this project I am working on!!
Aw, you are too sweet. I don't make these regularly and don't sell them. I actually just needed them for a project I was working on. And, when I figured out how to make them, I decided that the tutorial needed to be shared because others might want to make their own. I hope the instructions are clear enough for you to follow. Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions about the tutorial!
Hi! Unfortunately, I do not have a video that shows how to connect these pieces specifically. However, when I did connect them, I simply used jump rings to connect each of these links and then a clasp. If you are unsure how to use a jump ring, I have a tutorial on that here: th-cam.com/video/WhZaC6DKzw4/w-d-xo.html Please feel free to ask me any other questions you may have! I'll do my best to help.
Oh, that's a great idea, Rachel! I often do that with wrapped loops to make beaded chains. I think I didn't do it with this one because the design I was using these for needed them to be individual links. I would go for it!! Great idea.
Wow this is beautiful, thank you!! By the end of the video you said that it can be also used as a charm... Do I just have to cut one side then? But will it not "open itself" after some time? Do I have to make a knot or use heat at some point? I'm quite new to this and I'd be grateful for advice! :-)
Hey, thanks for the question. What I would recommend doing is when you wrap the first side through (pushing the wire under the beads) - do that several times (2-3) instead of making a wrapped loop. I encourage you to make sure that your wraps are tight and that you use your pliers to press down the end of the wire where you cut. I'm also one to worry about things coming apart and have to keep in mind that NOTHING lasts forever and all things will eventually break or fall apart, not just jewelry. Let me know if you have ANY other questions.
Love the oncept but couldn't see the work. Older eyes aren't so acute as young ones. Zooming in might help a lot if you choose to do another tutorial on this element development. Good luck. :D
Oh, Claudette, I hate to hear that. I had hoped that my explanation would help. It's actually pretty hard for me to get the camera too close and still be able to do the work. And, zooming in during editing causes some distortion in the video. But, I will definitely see what I can do next time and keep your advise in mind. I do appreciate it. Let me know if you have any questions on the parts you couldn't see. Thank you!
@@CraftyHope Believe me, I understand the difficulties. I wasn't upset with you, just disappointed that I could get my eyes to cooperate and see your work as it should be seen. I can no longer do beadwork. Being almost totally blind now doesn't allow for me to do more than sit on the sidelines and appreciate others' efforts. I hope in future you an find a more amenable way to film your process and progress. I'll keep checking back to "see" how you're doing. Good luck and good beading. :D
@@claudetteyoung3383 Aw, that really is a shame. I will definitely keep your suggestion in mind and look for better ways to showcase the techniques. Thanks again for the suggestion! ❤
Claire, that is an excellent question. Alas, I don't have a definite answer. All three of the beads I used in this tutorial are different sizes. The smallest is probably about 3mm while the center bead was likely 5mm. This tutorial will work with ANY size bead, you just need to form your flowers in whatever works best for the beads you have. I'm sorry I can't be more precise. Please don't hesitate to ask any other questions. And, I encourage you to just play with what you have and see what happens!!
I'm sorry about that. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Also, I believe I have the original post that I found online and learned from linked in the description.
A lovely and clever method for making flowers. I appreciate simplicity and you going through it twice.
Thank you! Yeah, I decided that a second time would be good in case the first time wasn't clear. Thanks for letting me know.
This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you!
I'm so glad I could help. When I couldn't really find it in video format either, I knew I needed to add my own for anyone else searching. Thanks!
