Tried this and these are the measurements I used...
    - between 6 and 7" of 20g (0.8mm) wire for the Main part of the moon
    - for the back support of the moon, 2" of 20g wire is more than enough but FIRST attach your bead *before* creating the back support for the moon, this will ensure a proper fit after you attach a bead -- TIP: I highly suggest you use a small bead for this size of moon. Up to 6mm can be accommodated though 4mm bead seemed to work better.
    - used less than 6" of 26g wire to wrap it all together
The overall size of the pendant was just under 1" (for me). As mentioned in the video, the size of the mandrel is 13mm but be sure of your wire placements, direction, and where exactly you are creating the folded bends or your moon won't come out looking right. TIP: Note the placement and direction of the wires at 0:35 it looks like a coil. Start out like this and be sure to bend your wires in the right places and you should be okay. Good luck!!

@@YegmalaYou don't teach a man to fish by only giving him a fishing pole. You also have to give him the fishing line and the hooks at the end if you're going to ACTUALLY teach them something. So yes, 100% the length of wire should be mentioned as part of the directions in a tutorial. it's common sense so stop trying to sound as if you know what you're talking about because clearly you have tools but no idea how to use them. good day.

Almost all wire jewelry is made with dead soft wire, which can be worked to become hard by lightly tapping it with a coated mallet on a metal surface. She uses 20 gauge wire for the body and 28 for the attachment points and bead. You don’t have to use these gauges specifically, it’s just what she used. I had 18 gauge laying around and used that to make this a big bigger for a pendant instead of earrings, and I had 26 gauge wire.
Note that the wire she is using is coated with a tarnish retardant.
