It is a Crime that Link and Kirby are not Playable
Hopefully a sequel gets made.
Kirby would be very hard to balance considering he's got alot of moves.

Yes it is a real game!!! Each character has 3 assist characters. Mario's are Luigi, Kirby and Link! Everyone has unique assists!

This isn’t just an animation; this is a “fullgame” of the hit fighting game meme machine Mugen.
The detail that got me is how each one has their own animation and theme for when they lose, before the winner's victory theme starts.
If such a game had been released sometime in 1990, then everyone would have bought this game and not others
Kinda wish there was a hidden Sonic fighter using sprites from Sonic 3D Blast 5, but this is incredible!

I personally think Sonic and Sega characters deserve their own MUGEN game. How cool would that be? Like... Chakan... Eric Lecarde from Castlevania... any character that was exclusive to Genesis would be radical. The whole Sonic cast. Dr. Robotnik would be EPIC

I always forget that MUGEN is used to make actual fighting game stuff instead of just throw a bunch of characters from different games in an arena together. XD
And I learned that MUGEN is capable of this, now
God, I love this so much. All it needs is a unique final boss fight at the end, and perhaps a few more characters.

It's actually a very well executed fighting game that any fanatic will be able to pick up and play! Typical Street Fighter style inputs. I haven't found a move list yet, but if you can HADOKEN, you can play this!!!

If Mega Man is shorter than Mario, you'd assume that Simon, Starman, Ryu Hayabusa should be taller, as realistically drawn heroes. Still, the consistency of the look is amazing! Well Played.
More to come for sure! There's a tag team mode I have yet to try. Should be interesting.

@kizerinspirations alright here is the link to the game. Runs on Windows for PC. Recommend an Xbox controller. Plug and play. To customize the input you will have to use the keyboard to navigate MUGEN. Beyond that it is simple. Plug and play.

Every mugen website i ever found in the 2000s was always abandoned and had broken links. I eventually gave up in finding an active mugen community and now here i am 17 years later and watching this video. Where the heck do mugen fans congregate?!

Around a decade ago I was invited to a college party, and when I entered the apartment there were like 12 dudes and wall-to-wall HD screens with state of the art mugen games being played. I was flabbergasted - At that point I'd been convinced for years that mugen was dead and left behind in the early and mid 2000s. Apparently it's still going strong and I still don't know where mugen fans meet to socialize.
