as you sealed the top screw hole, was it really necessary to seal that hole as the cap snapped on anyway.
Yes, otherwise water will collect & stay in that hole, over time the screw will rust, and vent cap may fall off as you drive on highway.
So don’t want to leave them open so your grey / black water tanks can vent?
That cap still allows for venting, just keeps the rain water out.
