I show my son all your videos thank you for the positivity sir! Fishing is one of the most valuable skills I ever taught my children behind respect!
Love it 🥰 reminds me of caching, cleaning, and cooking fish with grand dad….
Hay young fella. Nice 💯 catch of mullets. All the cleaning is on point. And just a good tip. When scaling try this. A folk is old school. And as an good fishman my Dad show me and my Bros, get a 5gal bucket 2. Fill with wate. Put a couple inside. 4. Now use the folk. The scales will come off under the water inside the bucket. Now cleaning will be very easy. No mess with all the scales. Cleaning will be done with all your fish...good luck.hope this help.
SIR!!!
Whoever trained you trained you extremely well, sir! I wish I was not allergic to seafood and fish, got this allergic reaction all of a sudden. But I know you can do the darn thing the way you catch and clean these things. I know you cook them well too. Keep it up young man .🫶🏾💯🙏🏽
You don't actually think you can be allergic to all seafood do you? That's like saying you're allergic to anything that grows on land🤣
@@davidsimpson9771 i’m so glad that you find it amusing! However, I have taken many many allergy test and yes, sir, I am allergic to all seafood and shellfish. This is my journey. Trust me. I’ve done the research. Dr. David, you do realize that there are people who are allergic to grass and trees and those things are all natural as well! So go do your research before you go posting ignorant messages!

Most people don’t know how good smoked black mullet is. Turn that into some smoked fish dip. 🔥
💯
I was just about to say that smoked mullet spread be off the MF chain
It’s really delicious.
“Don’t let it go to waste man” THANK YOU so much for stressing this. I talk about this all the time and feel like a broken record at this point, people in this country literally order a 15-20 dollar plate of food and hardly touch it and throw it away, I really hope the people that do this know that it’s blatantly obvious that they spoiled and never once struggled in life, because they’d not be so wasteful and would be far more grateful if they had lived the childhood I’d lived😐
Need more brothers like you stay on ya grind I love it
You're quick with the scaling! Nice fish!
I love mullet just had some yesterday, been eating and cleaning them all my life. That fish is so good when its fresh out the water, fresh out of the grease with some hot sauce, mustard and bread 😊😊😊my grandmother had coolers a lot bigger then this filled with mullet, he know what he doing ❤

Damn stuff like this makes me regret being raised in the inner city of Chicago. Have to get me some fishing lessons real soon. Salute to yall!
See why fathers are important not assuming he learned this from his dad but knowing how to survive and hunt for food in young men is kinda getting rare I appreciate this vid
It is. I’m not a young man but I’m a young lady who learned from my dad, uncles, and grandfather. Learned gardening from my grandmothers. My brother and cousins know how to hunt. If another 2020 hits GOD FORBID and the stores sell out, I’m confident we’ll be fine.

Mullet is only cut bait until Florida boys are around.
I didn't know people eat them🤣 Only bait fish for me.
Yeah we don’t eat it here in Texas. Strictly bait fish
@TexasPapa13 I'm from Texas... I can catch a bucket full in my net in 45 min. There was a dude from Florida who was catching dinner, and he left with his bucket.

I drive all the way to Macon, Ga. to load out and drive back to Chattanooga, Tn. Break the rest of the fam off with the load, go home fry it up, and eat in DELICIOUS SILENCE. Exactly ! Great knowledge bro ! We need more people like you teaching others. Now I want to see these babies cooked up and a recipe. Thank you sir
This Brings back memories, when I was growing up my grandpa and my dad would catch, skin, clean, cook whatever fish they’d catch. 💭
Same here. We'd catch a few of whatever. At times we'd have a tub of extra live ones swimming in a basement tub. Mom would cook them fresh later

Young Man you clean that fish . I wish I were near you ..I would buy some from you.... Blessings to you and your family 😊
Remember, don’t throw away all of those fish guts, that’s basically free bait for the next time you go fishing 🎣
Except mullet are vegetarians. You catch em with a net they are hard as hell to catch on a hook. We used to catch em with green horse feed and no weight for fun sometimes. Throw a handful when they jumping wait for em to start popping that feed and throw a few lines out in the mix.
I’m from gulf coast Texas and have never seen a mullet that big or someone try to eat one; this is a first on many levels for me.
Same here, here in Louisiana we just cut it up for bait. No one tries to eat them here, that i know of...
out of Galveston and thought the same thing about the mullet usually just bait if anything.
Florida is a different world. 😂
this is dope he gave me a reason to move to florida he make fishing look easy I want some yellow tail snapper

@@JuarezDerrickFacts....i've fished for decades in Galveston and have never eaten a mullet. But they do make excellent cut bait
I used to chunk out trevale or amberkack for bait all the time and only recently seen people actually enjoy eating it lol.
Apparently they even use it for sashimi.
