Michael Weikath is guitarist and funding member of Helloween. How many tears is on the Walls of Jericho from 1985. Michael wrote this masterpiece first for the SAS Band and named it Sea of Fears.
True, but actually Kai Hansen and Pieter Sielck in "Iron Savior" were the original founders of Helloween.

The studio version of How Many Tears with Kai Hansen on vocals is the best version made by Helloween
i dont agree, i think this one is much better, i think kiske sings better than hansen this song but that is my opinion, though nothing wrong with original, killing it aswell
@@pickamaterina1313 I'm torn on this. I like the tempo of this version a lot, but I am not big on the differing lyrics. They just don't seem to fit the overall theme of the song. As for the singer, I don't think I'm totally sold on this guy over Kiske.

I prefer Hansen on vocals on this song, because sings his ass off and it's the best speed metal song ever made.
Walls of Jericho is sadly the only speed metal album Helloween ever made. I wish they made 2 more speed metal albums before changing to power metal.
Live In UK is the only one live album with Ingo, Kiske and Hansen. Amazing.

Btw, Sasha, the other guitarist also has a side band called Pallast. He's also the vocalist of that band. Totally different music direction.

greetings from germany. Not long ago Helloween reunited. With all three singers, Kai, Michael and Andi. Seven pumpkins united on world tour. unbelievable. but they can together very very good. So, my favorite band IRON MAIDEN i dont like to see united. No way. 3 singers together, please dont. Only with Bruce there is Iron Maiden. Blaze, i like him, no doubt. But Paul DiAnno, damned....i have lost my respect to this poor, jealous shit talker. Serious. but back to helloween. on their tour they played the best version of How many Tears live.....you have to see that performence

this video was a real treat, how many tears is a classic but not a lot of people know about sas band or ill prophecy (kiskes band before helloween). Seeing this live with all 3 helloween singers was a dream come true. AAAAHHHH NEW ALBUM IN 3 DAYS IM SO HYPED
update: the full album leaked, and the HYPE. IS. REAL. I am so wet right now. I've had Best Time on repeat for hours and I've just been shredding guitar over it and having the best time of my life.

Good morning, what a lovely way to wake up with a Helloween reaction. I love the Live in the UK version of How many tears. I only came across the original Sea of Fear version a few years ago and really enjoyed it. However, what they turned that original song into is one of the Best Helloween songs of all time.
