Must be something similar with my mx10s, I had pellets hitting the end of the shroud (what interarms claims to be a silencer). I know of others who have the mx10s without the knurled thread shroud who have sorted the thwack it makes by putting 2 hair curlers wrapped in medical gauze or foam dishwashing cloth in it. Really quietened it down.

Can only find these at enfield sports now as they don't seem to be restocking anywhere but considering one as a first jump into pcp. If you still have it how is it holding up quality/accuracy wise? Many thanks
