Thank you for your brilliant videos. We have used many and this one in particular has just rescued us on our Scotland adventure. After removing the seat we found a random screw in the runner which had been preventing us from using the downstairs bed. Now celebrating and looking forward to a better night's sleep! Thank you again. From our Nugget to yours - happy travels to you!
I’m going to attempt this tomorrow! Van is 20 months old, 27,000 miles and the seat is tricky to move sometimes. We have 3 children and I can see theme park maps, pens, pencils and Lego bricks wedged underneath it! Should be fun!
All done, not too bad. Yes it is heavy, worse bit was lining it up to put it back, a good few minutes of huffing, puffing and trying to wiggle the brute into place. All good, maybe an hour tops. Removed more paper from runners, a lego brick in the runners and assorted rubbish & bits from underneath. Moves much easier now. Thanks so much for another very informative video Neil, never picked the manual up!
Hi Richard- glad it went well. Can appreciate all too well the 'bits' that get everywhere when travelling with kids! Hope you are all doing ok and enjoy the summer holidays!
Hello, it seems a little complicated to get out of the bench, but the interior space is very interesting. Thank you for sharing, especially since you did not hesitate to face the rain to shoot this video.
Hi Golem, the weather was awful to be fair. We had an appointment booked at the tip so we had to do it then😬. Still it all worked out. To be honest it wasn’t that bad. We took it out a few times and by the end it was easy. I’d be confident to do it whenever required.
What a nasty weather...puuh. Did you know if this is only possible in the UK-Version, because in Germany we don´t have the second sliding door....? Thanks for the information! Stay safe!!
The weather was indeed a challenge. Not sure about the EU version but. @Die2Mays Maybe be in a better position to answer this question? Thanks for reaching out.
Good question seccat. Having seen it close up I don’t think this would be a problem. There’s a safety button you have to press inside to allow it off the rails and you’d still have to pull the lever on the front to move it. As for accidentally leaving the bench over the recess you wouldn’t do this as it would look to far forward as you stepped back. We always push back till we hear the click anyway. Hope this clarifies.
Hi Tony- it looks pretty bad in the video doesn't it but it really wasn't that wet. We don't recall any issues with drying it/ being too wet so must have been really quick.

Very interesting, seems straightforward but I doubt I’ll ever do it as I have a good sized trailer. (No other news yet from me).
Hi Richard sorry to hear you are still waiting! It. Will be so sweet when it finally arrives! 🤞

What stops you from accidentally positioning the seat over those recesses and getting into a car crash?

Hi Neil, the seat looked like it got pretty wet in all that rain. How long did it take to dry out?
