Did it on a 1929 350 cc motorcycle with 3 gears and hand change in September coming the opposite way. There was an idiot parked in a camper van on the hairpin, watching the vintage bikes passing He was totally oblivious to the fact that the bikes needed a lot of road width to negotiate the hairpins safely and a couple of people had to go back down and start again in order to get up the hill successfully.

Nice solution guys. I'm on the way to build a rain cover for my van starting from an XL tarp by Decathlon, that's hexagonal and so can fit with less cuts. I was thinking to make an internal insulation too splitted in 4 panels with magnetic buttons, but your external solution seems clever and easier. Anyway, both commercial products are 800 euros total, diy can save a lot of money.

Hi all. We have 70 plate nugget and our sliding doors have started to rattle like mad. We have taped up the fixing posts on the door which fixes the rattle as it’s more snug when closed in its housing, however makes opening the door more difficult. Any ideas from nugget owners? The event looked awsome. Thanks very much.

Hi there. Just recently bought a Nugget Plus and been away in it for the first time. Not sure about what needs to be on/off when your travelling. For example can the gas be left turned on at cylinder and switch over duration or should it be turned off after each use(which is what I did) ? Also should the electrics be turned off when you're not away camping or can that be left on? Would be grateful for answers to these and any other do/don'ts when out camping. Many thanks. Pete

Hi I have a 2022 Nugget Plus - I recently purchased it (second hand) and only taken it on one occasion to learn how to use the pop up and all about habitation area equipment. Excellent exercise, learned a lot and very pleased with the van. However recently it had to go into a bodyshop for some very minor cosmetic body repairs (as agreed and paid for by previous owner) and after collecting I noticed that the (new type) control panel for the heater fridge water storage function was not working but middle symbol on the panel was flashing. I’ve referred to the manual with no joy. I normally put batteries on recharge every fortnight. Please do any Ford Nugget/Plus owners have any idea what the problem is. I have have plugged the van into the mains to recharge the leisure battery. Any guidance/feedback would be very much appreciated. Thank you

After removing the seat we found a random screw in the runner which had been preventing us from using the downstairs bed. Now celebrating and looking forward to a better night's sleep! Been very interested on the video detailing the water system. We recently purchased a 22 nugget active plus and finding that the water pump seems to stay on all the time been looking to find the pressure switch but no success. Any idea where i would locate it also I have been trying to get an instruction manual but again no success.Any help would be appreciated 👍🏻

we have a new Nugget plus and just wanted to point out a change from your none. Firstly the nlittle switch only controls the 12 v supply. When hooked up our heater came on with the switch in the off position. Also our thermmastatic switch for 12 v is on the opposite side to yours.

Can we please let me know what is the exact hight of nugget 2024 version plus pop top in cm. Because I can’t find it anywhere.

A useful video however we bought a 2022 model which is different because there seems to be no water pump switch. We have the new style control panel (see the later clip) which works well but somehow the water pump switch has given and the fuse panel is now vertical. Our situation is made worse because the supplying dealer (Keith Motors in Christchurch - avoid them) gave us a manual in French and all attempts to get an English version have failed. There is nothing on the Ford site that I can find either. These issues apart this is a versatile vehicle and a lot of fun. Fortunately there are good dealers around and Alan Myerscough in the Lake District is the stand out for me. Just go in with your eyes open when buying as this is a collaboration between Ford and Westfalia and some things seem to get lost in translation - literally in our case!

I have seen the App Ford Pass, Ford Pass Pro and Ford Pass Connect. I am not sure which one is appropriate, any advice? Great channel by the way, I pick ours up on Friday. Could you run through the costs and whether it is dog friendly as we have several! Ps love the family, your children are a credit to you. is it possible to have a larger water tank for fresh water or to install an additional water tank for having more autonomy?

Great tips, thank you. What is the brand of the velcro tape that you are using? I am looking for strong glue to hold up some old Brandrup bags from my old VW California onto the Nugget kitchen cupboard. The bags already have the hook side of the velcro tape sewn on them and I just need to glue the loop side onto the walls.
