Really appreciate the comment. One suggestion. Start off by setting it turned in to where the level will be set at its lowest setting and then work your way up from there because if you go over the level, you will need to wait till the car eats up the gas for the level to go back down. Its not like when you have the hole to where the gas spills out and you can see the instant adjustment.
@@staffordsanpei7804 thank you! And Take the carb bowls off, invert them and set the floats so that a 7/16" drill bit laying on the roof of the bowl just touches the hanging float. There are some videos on setting float level on bench with the bowl off the carb which is how you will need to do it.
@@EddiesCustomsandRestorations Eddie I feel like an idiot. After closer inspection.I found the secondary sight plug. It's hidden just behind the vacuum secondary diaphram. I adjusted the primaries. It's running a lot better. Sorry for wasting your time.
I have an issue with a 750 Holley DP, did a kit on it, at idle only one of the primary’s is dripping fuel at idle, if you rev it it wants to flood. Floats are set, regulator is set. I have no idea what it is.
You have a restriciton. Open it back up and blow compressed air through all the bored especially the one that leads to that primary that isnt injecting fuel
Thank you! And I like electric but don't trust ebay special or cheap fans. If you have a big motor dont trust those. Get yourself Derale or Spal fans. Those are good quality fans that pull lots of TRUE CFM
I got a flood issue with my 750 double pump holley if I let it run it'll flood all around the carb base ...is this the cause of the fuel bowl level being not set ?
@@richlong4119 yes you can. That will bring the fuel level up. Start with the level below/under the sight hole and slowly work your way up because if you start above, you will never know how much higher you are since its always going to leak the gas out when you pull the screw out
Excellent and very clear. Although I have a later Holley with the glass I know better how to adjust front and back. Thanks

@@EddiesCustomsandRestorations with the site glass version, think you can suck some fuel out with a turkey baster or something first?
@@lollipop84858 you would just have to let it run a little
Great video. My holley 4160 doesn't have a secondary sight hole. How do I know when it's at the correct height?

@@staffordsanpei7804 oh no, don't worry, happy to help. Glad you got it figured out my friend!
Was the back one giving you problems bcuz the car rear tires were off the cement? The car wasn't level
That is correct. Car needs to be level.. I dialed it in after. I should have mentioned that on video

the fuel levels should absolutely be checked.
Get a pressure regulator set it about 6 p.si.
The motor vibrates when turned off ? Holley carby
Of the motor wants to still sort of stay on you are dieseling. You must be running rich and have fouled plugs and lots of carbon build up
Hola amigo soy de Venezuela y tengo un carburador lloly cuatro bocas y no puedo entonarlo como lo hago
Me gustaria poder decirle pero es muy difícil explicar por comentario...
Your Holley looks funny
Mechanical secondarys?
What's your fuel pressure regulator set at?
The pump is producing very low pressure so i had to have the regulator wide open. But just set it at around 5psi and you will be okay .
Thanks
We have Carburetor Float Bowl Chamber Kits that may fit your equipment. We can provide it for free. Do you need?
How do you do this without an electric pump
@@richlong4119 you can do it with the car running or you can do it while cranking as well which is when the pump is pumping.
@@EddiesCustomsandRestorations can you start the car let it idle shut it off the check.
