One thing people have to know about the "WE GO" video is that it was at the height of the COVID lockdown. That's why in the video it shows them separately on video calls and editing pics and vids of trips they took. At the start of the MV you see Gyuri in front of what seemed like a plane window only to zoom out to show she was just beside the washing machine because trips were pretty non existent during that time.
Feel Good is the start of the Fromis_9 Renaissance. Bigger budget, more consistent style, better MVs, this is the start of the Fromis_9 that exists today
We Go is my fav fromis track. It was released during the pandemic and it’s abt us yearning to travel, hence all the photoshopping of where we wish to go
This trio of songs is Fromis_9 perfection. OT9, back from a year's hiatus, and an amazing combination of pop sounds, quirky and social media-savvy concepts. Everything they do is great, but I wish they would tack back a bit towards this sound and visual style.
A few things worth mentioning: TL;DR: Feel Good is a new, more matured style; WE GO is a song about missing social contact (in a lockdown); Talk & Talk was when they got their first win; I miss Gyuri so much. - Starting with "Feel Good", you are now reacting to a new fromis_9 style. More mature, but different kind of feel good songs. When they released "Feel Good", they had just come out from a more than a year long hiatus. You can notice how they grew up a lot ever since "Fun" era (specially Jiheon, she's way taller here lol). That comeback established their new production style. Plus, it's my favorite song from them, I discovered fromis_9 through Feel Good the week it was released. - "WE GO" was released in mid 2021. I would suggest you watching it on your own again and thinking about how the world was at the time with all the lockdown and stuff. Part of the message of the song is about missing the close contact with people, and it's real clever how they included references in the MV, like in the beginning, with Gyuri watching the sky from an airplane window, but it's actually a laundry machine. Really cool summer song, which went viral because of the challenge in 8:26, and also for being such a bop of a title. - In mid 2021 (same period as "WE GO"), fromis_9 moved labels, going from Off The Record (same label as IZ*ONE) to Pledis (same as SEVENTEEN). Pledis has HYBE as their parent company, which explains the budget from "Talk & Talk" forward being visually and soundly higher. It was around this time that Gyuri (the gorgeous lady in 14:00) decided not to sign up a new contract with the group so she could follow her acting career, meaning she would promote with fromis_9 until july last year. #menow was the first comeback with Gyuri being a former member, so you'll be seeing her in "DM" and "Stay This Way" still. She left the group on good terms, as far as we know, and we wish her the best of luck in her new path (she's in the drama "Cheer Up"!). - Still on Gyuri's note, DKDK was actually the first time fromis_9 released and promoted a song without Gyuri, due to her being a participant of Produce 48, a Mnet reality show. - Lastly, Talk & Talk was a single album with just that song, but it's one of their most important comebacks to date. That's because it was when they got their first ever win after almost 4 years of activity. Their encore stage on the first win was incredibly emotional for Flover. We all cried with them. It took some time to right this, but if I missed something, please let me know, guys. Looking forward to the next reactions!
After being dungeoned for more than 15 months, for reasons unknown (well besides Pledis doing an impeccable Cube imitation), following the quirky Fun Factory (Fun!) the My Little Society (Feel Good) concept photos, and everything that followed, led to an immediate all out seismic shift on planet flover! Definitely a different more mature look & sound but they managed to keep the overall Fromis sound! Can’t tell you how excited I am that you’re both enjoying getting to know Fromis & their music….interesting enough as great as the music is, I think their non music content is even better!
It wasn’t really for “reasons unknown.” July 2019 is when the controversy regarding MNET’s vote manipulation started up. Idol School, which formed fromis_9, was part of the investigation. Their management probably thought it best to lay VERY low (and only release TH-cam content) until the entire issue was put to rest.

I guess my point was it was never really addressed by anyone involved with Fromis

Feel Good is my fave gg song! I stanned f9 from that comeback. Best era of outfits for them. The black and white outfits are from an incredible performance video you should watch! Favorite song, choreo, MV, outfits! Weather from that amazing My Little Society album is my fave f9 b-side, it has a wonderful video! We Go is my second fave song, incredible MV, love the choreo. These two songs and MVs are meant to be on repeat. Feel Good is my anti-depression song from the COVID lockdown. We Go is a good luck song for my family.
In Kpop, sometimes I like an MV but not the music, sometimes it's the opposite. But very rarely, it goes both to We Go, the best MV and music of all time.

Also, I don't know if you have these lined up to watch, but on the official fromis_9 youtube, there is a set of vids in their (Channel 9) playlist named "In the HOUSE" and it is all about them living in their apt and you get to see who rooms with who, how they are with each other and the chaos that ensues. Very fun watch.

Talk & Talk is the one that made me a Flover (not since then though, I met them much later, but heard that song first), it's just so happy and cute and I just love the vibe of the song, but Feel Good and We Go are so freaking good!! We Go deserves an Oscar for best editing tho, it's absolutely bonkers in the best way possible
i had never heard any of their songs you reacted to before this so in my mind this is fromis' vibe and sound so it was so cool to see their earlier stuff because its different but not dramatically, they always have soft, satisfying choreo and the concepts are usually very straightforward. love bomb was bombs, fun was very fun, feel good makes you feel good, etc. i never got too into them, but i do think the girls are really funny and talented and their music is always so good

First time I heard Feel Good, I actually thought it was a Twice song. Some similar elements in the production and vocal timbres. Love that song in particular.
The only thing I don't like about this video is that the makeup artists for Soyeon and Jisun failed them. The fact that when I watched this video before I knew about fromis_9 and wasn't attracted to either because of their stylist's and makeup artist's work says a lot about that. But in everything else Jisun is one of the prettiest women and Soyeon is gorgeous in everything else as well. 1 out of 10 for their stylists and makeup artists. Ugh. Don't usually notice makeup and stylist fails, but this was pretty bad. Jisun and Soyeon deserved better. I'll get off my soapbox now, just had to get that off my chest. Everything else about this music video is fire though. It's the first time I ever had heard of fromis_9. Love these girls.
