I feel like Atom always agrees with Kazinho. And when he does go first to talk, it’s like he’s unsure of his thoughts and is waiting for kazinho’s reassurance and agreement. It’s like he’s afraid to like a song until kazinho says he likes it lol.
But anyways, thanks for the reaction. I really do enjoy kazinho’s opinions, whether he likes a song or not. People get so worked up when they don’t like a song but it’s ok to not like your fave’s songs. I’m just glad they really enjoy Red velvet, mamamoo, and now fromis 9
I’ve noticed that too and I’ve ended up just not caring about his opinions much anymore. I don’t agree with kazinho a lot either but he at least articulates his thoughts better and it doesn’t come off as just criticizing just to have something to say.

I mean....their thumbnail pic is a great idea....a hater vs a fan and one side trying to convince the other or show why they think that but that's not what usually happens here. It's usually kanzino saying something and atom replying "ok" or "yeah" or if atom has to go first it's "I didnt/did like this because of the bass /the vocal mixing (those are the only 2 things ive ever heard atom mention for every song)". Quite literally that's every single video they've ever done.

I was a casual listener of fromis_9 before. But as they release more songs, it keeps getting better and better. And I think it's one of their charms. They always make me feel excited with their releases. Now, I became their fan that would buy their albums every comeback because I know it would be a top-tier lol.

i agree! if i am going to be completely honest their songs slowly became more listenable to me, i don’t hate any of their older songs (FUN! gives me sooo much nostalgia) but i typically only end up listening to their songs after talk and talk/we go eras, especially DM and supersonic

I wish some of their b sides were recommended like airplane mode, escape room, rewind, attitude, prom night, in the mirror, bring it on. Their b sides are VERY different from their title tracks and thats where the experimental songs are. Their TTs are on the safer side but this group has some of the best b sides in the industry and thats why their last album, Unlock my World, is widely considered one of the best full length kpop albums in recent times. I legit think there are only 2 of their albums in which my favorite song is the title track

Couple suggestions:
I know you guys say the music video does not impact how you guys feel about a song but I feel like listening to audio would be better because firstly it’d get rid of the breaks that happens sometimes, but second and most importantly some songs actually do have a music video syndrome where the video actually impacts how you perceive the song such as Dash by NMIXX. Specifically, Dash’s music video warps how you feel about the “transition” by making it seem like such a stark change-up when really all they did was strip the instrumentation as the bridge of the song-there wasn’t even a key change nor a tempo change. Additionally our eyes and our ears have a lot more correlation than we think.
Furthermore, perhaps you guys could set up a community post for the next group you plan on reacting to for people to suggest songs in order to see what the general consensus is for what people think represent their discography rather than getting suggestions from a single biased person who might try to tailor their suggestions to what they think you guys would prefer.

The former member gyuri is super popular bc of her visuals, bc she was a pretty long lasting contestant on PD48, and for her acting. She left the group to focus on acting.
The height range for Jiheon is kind of wild bc she grew A LOT from their debut to now. She was 14-15 when they debuted and now she's 21. When they started they called Gyuri and Chaeyeon the twin towers bc they were so much taller than everyone else in the group but now Jiheon is basically the same height

Yall are so weird a music videos always have some type of break which makes the video more aesthetic. If yall want to listen to the song without breaks then don't watch the music video and only listen to the song
While I agree they over-fixate on there being breaks in the MV’s of kpop, I will say a valid criticism is that having a break following the bridge into the final chorus is probably the worst time to place it in the song. You lose all of the momentum and anticipation usually built up by said bridge and unless you have an extended post chorus or outro, the ending feels too rushed oftentimes.

fromis_9 is my favorite group, they're so talented! The group has been shown to have 95.21% synchronization in dance(which is the highest among currently active girl groups I believe) and their main dancer Hayoung can hit whistle notes(I don't know if you guys heard them in the last chorus of DM). They got me through some tough times mentally, their songs just sound too overwhelmingly positive that I can't not feel happy while listening. They're honestly the best girl group in HYBE at live singing, but they're criminally underrated and neglected by the company in terms of budget, promotion, and activities in general. Some groups have had 4 comebacks in the time that they were given 1, and after over 6 years as a group they've only had one full album. That aside, I admit I was a bit afraid of a reaction to them though, because I felt like they wouldn't match your tastes in music. I'm glad you guys still had a positive reception to the music as a whole though, putting aside your personal preferences 👍
Maybe react to the audio if you don’t care about the music video? It’s not like you appreciate the storyline or the visuals anyway

It is a group that has absolute support from Korean soldiers. Considering that all men in Korea must join the military as a duty of national defense, it can be said that it is a girl group with a huge number of male fans. However, the problem is that soldiers cannot make money. Hahaha. The agency is so bad at work. Even though it is a girl group with the best members and the best skills, it is always undervalued. Most of the problems are due to the incompetence of the agency. I don't know why the agency doesn't engage in aggressive activities. I feel like my agency is deliberately interfering. Each member is so attractive and very funny. The videos of their daily lives are so funny that they are so popular.
Their last album was awesome. I am waiting for their next releases. It is so sad that their company doesn't promote them properly.
ARTMS is probably the most experimental group right now. I hope you guys react to them soon.

Full thoughts:
Love bomb - the first time I heard the song I didn’t like it, I loved the chorus because of how cinematic it sounds, specifically how full the instrumental sounds. but it was a bit jarring at first. I do agree that the rap was unnecessary, but the ending is amazing, when you combine the adlibs with the chorus, and then they move Into the outro, it’s perfect
Feel good - when this came out we were deep in COVID lock down, and this brought me so much Serotonin. I really do like the repeating ending, especially because it’s similar to the love bomb last chorus where they add new adlibs to the end.
We go - it’s cute but I haven’t listened to it alot because it’s not my style so I don’t have many thoughts
DM - wow, this song has SO much energy. The dynamics of the vocals are also fantastic, the low notes sang in the verses are some of the lowest notes I’ve ever heard in a girl group song, and it highlights how high the chorus notes are (not to mention the whistle notes at the end)
Me now: i love this vibe, it’s like if you took the style they were doing before and made it more mature and “vibey”. I LOVE the call and response vocals they do in the chorus. I will say, this is THE perfect song to drive to at night. Especially if you live in a bigger city and can drive with all of the city lights flowing and twinkling at night.
