When creating a share, I set the sharing permissions for authenticated users to full control and the NTFS right on the groups concerned.
Typically, when you create a shared folder through the Server Manager dashboard, it automatically sets the share permissions to give everyone full control at the sharing level. Therefore, you need to configure the NTFS permissions according to your requirements. You have done the right thing.
To sign in remotely, you need the right to sign in through Remote Desktop Services. By default, members of the Remote Desktop Users group have this right. If the group you're in doesn't have this right, or if the right has been removed from the Remote Desktop Users group, you need to be granted this right
manually.

I am trying to create a local account on my Windows Server 2022 that has Administrative privileges. However, for some reason I can't see the Local Users and Groups tab in the Computer Management application. It is not even an option for me. I have attached a screen grab below for clarity. I am making this to offer a backdoor to the server to login to a local account that is not connected to the active directory. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
1. Once server is promoted to DC, there will be no local user account. There will be no Local Users and Groups on Server Manager or using Computer Management. 2. If you want to create a local user (with admin privilege) on member server, you have to go to that member server or client computer, open computer management and create a local user for that computer.
