I would love to see another video with the expansion, as in the last 48 hours I have bought a copy of both! With Christmas postal delays, they're not due until next month, so you still have time to prepare. 😁
Great video Tia. I’m learning something about myself and solo gaming. I like games that are quick to set up. Finally got my copy of Lux Aeterna. While ordering that, I saw this title, “Black Sonata”. This looks pretty cool. I’ve watched two play throughs so far; you got further on your game btw, so job well done! I may be picking your brain on this in the future. A little fuzzy on some of the rules/concepts. Definitely looks engaging. Take care!
Yes please do! This one is so unique, so there's a bit of a learning curve, but SUUUUPER great design & engaging gameplay. 😁 And congrats on Lux Aeterna! 🥰
How am I supposed to break the habit of buying more games, if you play so many fun games I've never heard of. Now I bought this, and the cycle continues!
Well... you take a "break" from buying games and stock up on expansions, sleeves, organizers, component upgrades... Then you can get back to it, fully refreshed! 😂

Just picked this up with expansion but have to admit the rulebook has me a little looped. Your play through certainly has helped but I can't figure out why at 13:35 you reveal the 2 mask stealth card and determine immediately she moved to Liberty of The Clink and then remove the second tracking token although there's 2 masks at Shoreditch? How did you determine she wasn't there? What am I missing? 🤔Thanks for the tutorial!
Glad to hear the video was helpful! With a movement of a card in the basic game, the dark lady will always move one location away, so based on her previous two potential locations, the only two mask location she could reach with one movement would be Liberty of the Clink. Hope this helps! 🙂
@@tabletoptokki Hmmm. I’m still lost. Lol. Wasn’t the second tracking token on Bishopsgate that you removed , one space away from Shoreditch as well? Even though you were correct I can’t figure out where you seen a difference between the 2 possible locations? They both appeared to me to be one move away from a 2 mask location. Maybe it’s late and I need to sleep on it..lol. Regardless thanks for responding. 👍🏻
@@Kajuber OH! Yes you are correct! I don't remember, but either I remembered the pattern from earlier (unlikely) or I just missed the symbol at Shoreditch (more likely). 😅
