Yay for more solo-specific reviews! Another great selection. What I really appreciate about Black Sonata is that it is a completely unique experience. The theme, the hidden movement mechanic. Great fun! The only minor complaint I have is on the hidden movement portion, I only feel really confident searching around the inn/coin locations. Once the DL moves into parks and churches, I am lost.
Definitely cute and clever. Love the solo hidden movement mechanism, love the Shakespearean poetry and Elizabethan Era theme. However, after that I'd call it more of a clue-collection & elimination game rather than what I'd normally consider a logic puzzle, but I guess you could call it light logic. I like it and think you did a really good job showing us the game.
A reprint is coming to KS soon, and if you're into PnPs, you can have it now for free! (Check the BGG link at the bottom of the show notes.) I also think the Sideroom Games site has some.
...or you could just play the horror-themed yet similar core design by the same designer(John Keane) which is Rest in Peace: The Asylum with Print and Play files available for free on Board Game Geek. I am a John Keane fan by the way.

John Keane has put out PnP expansions that add even more to the game and "fix" the ability to memorize the Dark Lady cards. Info is on the BGG page.
i guess it's quite randomly asking but do anybody know of a good place to stream newly released movies online?
I absolutely love this game, and yes, I make it a point to only play it once every other month or so to avoid the issues you mentioned.
