OUTSTANDING! Thank God she maintained that precious voice of hers throughout the years because they really slept on her in 1992… Give this song bird her flowers NOW… Way WAY overdue. 🌹
She is one of the best female vocalists in the last 75 years in the United States.
She is up there with Stephanie Williams, Whitney, Yolanda Adams, and a few others. A true superstar, the world lucky to have her!

Shopping for high end speakers in the early 1990s, I took a promo of this song to each vendor to gauge vocal frequency response of any speaker I was considering. Sales staff at every store were completely blown away by Chante's voice and range. Legacy audio eventually got my coin, and the manager made this Chante cut his demo reference.

Notice it was her vocals along with the music not all of these people dancing around to cover up the fact there is no singing going on. Pure vocals equal pure talent which is lacking in what gets call R&B today.
I never knew a man cried ever by listening to this song. Despite the breakup with my first love during that particular time in 92. Because that was probably the best thing I could have ever done anyways and that situation didn't make me cry at all!.. by listening to this song of what she and I been through and what we had planned of being together forever actually made tears come down drastically!.. This song right here!.. So beautiful still brings tears to my eyes today!

Chante Moore I always loved her song to dance and sing to easily. Some people are oveelooked no matter how beautiful and talented they are. Some marriages NEVER last no matter how beautiful it seems. Some things will NEVER be no matter how much you love them. Some people will NEVER stay or live and die no matter how much hoy try. Some will go too soon and you will NEVER know why.

She should have been a superstar. It’s a crime that she’s so unknown to the general public. What was it that stopped her from being huge? Did she have a bad record label? Could they not find her good songwriters? Her voice wasn’t the issue AT ALL!
