I'm currently converting my Promaster with my dad so I kNOW all the work, time, and expenses that goes into this, and you and your parents did such a BRILLIANT job!!! It looks SO GOOD!! Your videos are motivating me to carry on, thank you❣
Thanks! I'm quite behind on getting content online, so we built this last year and I've been travelling in it since April - and it looks exactly the same now! In fact, the footage at the very beginning is what I filmed just last week
Great video and thank you for taking the time to share your efforts with us. This was such a helpful video as I too want to install a smooth ceiling but was really worried you would be able to see the join. But this now gives me hope. Any chance I can borrow your Mum for the painting and filling though? Great job on the ceiling. Looking forward to the future updates. Happy travels.
Thanks for your lovely comment and I'm so glad it's helpful, I spent more time deliberating on how to do the ceiling than anything else in the end! I was actually planning to add 3 or 4 wooden feature beams width ways on top of this, but it this way really keeps the space feeling larger I think. I'll ask mum to clear her calender 😂
It's very neat. We used T&G and it was a lot more of a faff. Can you still get to the bolts that hold the high level rear brake light in place, in case the bulb needs changing?
Ummm no, I only learnt I needed internal access to that by reading your comment 😂. I thought I'd done really well to retain access for the side light units, reg plate, door handles... Apparently I missed one, so please keep your fingers crossed it stays lit 🤞🤞🤞
Great ceiling idea! Blessings everyone 🌱
Your mom is a real trooper
Brill vids and ideas Please keep the vids coming, glad your enjoying the van
Thanks for your kind comment, I'll post another video soon 😊

looks great. Will be interesting to see how it holds over the coming seasons of travel.

Great video Jodie, I was going to have the same oak looking slats but may go with the same idea, thanks for sharing
I realllly wanted the fancy slats but in reality I do thinks this makes the tiny space looks much larger, so glad I was feeling cheap 😂
@@vanventureswithjodie I'm forever changing my mind and layout 😆
Beautiful job well done
Thanks so much ☺️
