  • Hi RC Enthusiasts
    Welcome to my channel and thank you for taking the time to view this video.
    This is the RadioLink RC4GS v3 Radio system. I have purchased this in a strategic move, due to having difficulty in obtaining at a sensible price FlySky 3 channel receivers. So in an attempt to ensure that I have on hand a decent radio system, I've decided to place my trust in RadioLink, as well as FlySky (not having all my eggs in one basket here). Time will tell, but this RadioLink system certainly seems to be a quality radio. Anyway, here's a layman's view of the system.
    As always, please do comment, like and subscribe as this helps my channel to grow and shows me what I am doing right and where I need to improve. I always appreciate the support of fellow RC enthusiasts. I regard everyone who subscribes to my channel, as friends.
    Take care, keep well and all the best to you.
    See you again soon.

    Thanks for the overview! Ordered mine, should be coming Saturday. Will use it initially for the 3dsets Rescuer we are building but I think there’s more RC in my future so having the 30 model memory will come in handy!

    I hear these are are really nice Tx/Rx systems. Having the ability to have up to have up to 30 cars on this is a big deal in and of itself, let alone all the other functions and adjustments it has! Super nice John! All the best to you my friend! 😋👊🏼

      Hi there Robby, thank you for watching, I appreciate your support. This is such a great radio. The number of memory slots for the cars, the finer adjustments and that gyro feature, to make me look like ‘the man’ 🤣🫣🤣, all for a very reasonable price. Best wishes 😉😊😉

    Great review, John, this radio set sure is packed with features! I do like the buttons for quick trim settings, very useful as it can take some time to go through the menus. Looks well made and cool to have the gyro feature, too. All the best, mate! 😉✌🤝👍

      Hi there Mark, thank you for watching, I appreciate your support, my friend. It’s certainly got some very good features, I think you’re right about the quick access buttons on the circumference of the steering control, is certainly a great idea. Having the gyro as standard is going to make me look ‘the man’ 🤣🫣🤣Best wishes 😉😊😉

    I will be looking at the Radiolink transmitter and receiver here pretty soon. Have only two transmitters for all my RCs. 2 in better than 12.. I have heard good things concerning RadioLink.. thanks for the unboxing and overview and function. 💢💢💢

    I have been using a V2 now for a long time and I couldn't be happier with it. I got 8 Cars running on mine. Including a Scx6. I got an extra receiver here now for the OTHER Scx6. :) I am on the verge of buying the V3. I am running out of room. lol Great over view and the idseed is important. ;) Read up on it. Nicely done my friend. Have a great day

      Hi there Nick, thank you for watching, I appreciate you stopping by. It’s a great RC radio system and certainly very competitively priced for the features within it. If you can grab a V3, go for it, for either 5 channel or 7 channel system, they are very good. The ID Seed function, from what I’ve understood it, allows 2 RC’s to be controlled on 1 model address, programming them as ID1 and ID2 respectively. I wonder if that is limited though to 30 receivers in total on the one transmitter? Because if you can run & switch between 2 RC’s on one model address, then effectively, 60 devices? Hmmm….? Maybe 🤔 I understood that wrong? I’ll have to go back a review some of the tutorials on the RL site. Best wishes 😉😊

    Congratulations on the Radio Link Controller 😀👉 Those are nicer than my RC4GS v1 with being able to add that many RC's to the menu, but I have the v1 and v2 RC6GS for my Crawler Addiction, I mainly use the 4 channel for bashing and faster runner's

      @@ShenRC hi there Steve, so so, right, for the budget conscious, this is certainly worth investing in. I think for land based RC’s like car and boats, I reckon these RadioLinks are more than adequate. Best wishes, thanks for the great feedback 😊😉

    Hi John hope your well? That’s a very nice rc set there. I never knew you could get giros in receivers! Feel so out of touch with modern rc equipment! Anyway I’m thinking of getting a decent transmitter for cars as it would be nice to do some running videos in the future so your video really caught my attention. Would like to see how you get on with it. Take care and best wishes

    • @JF-RC
      @JF-RC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there Peter, thank you for watching, I appreciate you stopping by. Oh yes, both the RadioLink and the FlySky’s have gyros inside certain receivers, need to look out for correct model receivers. Also, for a more budget conscious spend, the DumboRC X6 and X6FG receivers also have a gyro, only difference is the DumboRC doesn’t have model memories, but you are able to bind multiple receivers to the X6 transmitter, just got to ensure the trims are right for each run. I look forward to seeing your car(s). Best wishes 😉

    Looks quite the package John. I have not had too much issues getting receivers for Flysky models. How does the price compare with these Radio Link ones??

    • @JF-RC
      @JF-RC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there Craig, thank you for watching. I’m always thinking ahead my friend. I’ve been looking at the price of the FS-A3 receivers and the FS-BS4 receivers and they seem to be around £10 mark for the A3’s and £15 mark for the BS4’s, the RadioLink RG6GS’s are around the £11 mark. So very price competitive. Best wishes 😊😉😊

    Hi, I have this radio, wondering about one thing about expo, can this be put on a switch so that it can be turned on and off and how do I do it?

    • @JF-RC
      @JF-RC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there and thank you for watching,mi appreciate you stopping by. That’s a very good question, I’ve not played around with the Expo programming yet, but I’m sure it would be a case of programming your Expo, then assigning a switch in the settings to either activate on deactivate that Expo feature. I’ll see if I can have a look. Best wishes 😉

    How to reverse channel two? mine when I accelerate forward the Rc goes backwards and when I accelerate backwards it goes forward!

    • @JF-RC
      @JF-RC  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi and thank you for watching and reaching out. This is a common issue with RC’s and can be easily fixed in two ways. Either swap around the two output motor wires, that are connected from the ESC to the motor (I.e. if you have a Tamiya, pull the bullet connectors and swap them over) or in the RadioLink channel ‘REVERSE’ setting and change ‘TH’ from NORM to REV. The easiest method is changing the wires around. Hope that helps, best wishes 😊😉😎

      @@JF-RC When reversing the wires that go from the esc to the motor as you told me, there is no danger of burning, right? since I made the connection as indicated on the engine and the esc A WITH A - B WITH B - C WITH C
