    The whole of humanity needs to hear this. This will put many Psychologists out of work if this is embodied by humanity.

      @@summerbreeze5115 psychologists typically take the separate self and find ways to improve it, but it remains a separate self. Any effort perpetuates the belief in a separate self. Different from realizing that there is no separate self.

      Many psychologists do a fantastic job and are well needed to those not ready yet to let go of mental constructs. I introduced a few friends to Ruppert or E. Tolle, they couldn't resonate with that at all and preferred to continue their cessions with a therapist . Each to their own path

      I agree with your comment. However, the same truth about the illusory self has been taught by countless Masters, countless times. But, Master Rupert Spira demonstrates it to us and it for the first time is received by us, experiencially. Before it was mere words. Now it is a living experience for us. The menu describes the food. But you can't eat the menu. We have been reading this for years. Even Rupert has been saying it for years. But here and now, we go through the process of trying to find the "I" that is hurt and the search comes up empty, yet we are convinced that it is still there. But Rupert shines the Light of Consciousness on the search for "i" and we ultimately realize, "it just ain't there. Thank you, Nikos Batras for your brilliant statement:This is one of the most important videos in the history of humanity. That just might be one of the most important comments in the history of humanity,

    i found this video very helpful! the man i loved hurt and betrayed me without thinking twice about it and i felt so much anger, hatred and such deep hurt. the emotions were so strong and painful i felt like i couldnt live with myself :/ but through self inquiry, when i look deeper i find that the me behind this story isnt actually there. like its simply a story, but i dont feel identified with it like i used to. what he did to betray me i now see as something that "just happened" but theres nothing fueling it anymore. its quite liberating. when you realize it, its like a complete change in perspective. im so grateful for this video! and if you guys are going through something simular just know that it will be okay, and everything happens for a reason. you will look back and be thankful.

      In my experience after i truly see and experience the non-existence of the "false I", every related bad feelings to that are gone. In your case after you really see that the I is not there, there is then no subject for the identification. There will be no misidentification, as there is nothing to identified with.

    • @JaikaJKlein
      @JaikaJKlein 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      One Ten Thousandth, teachings like Rupert’s and others do point toward a misidentification with the separate self (using thoughts) that causes the sensation of suffering. Another teacher, Byron Katie has a simple method of uncovering the reality that our thoughts can, unknowingly, create for us. She’s brilliant!!

    Werner Erhard and est was in some ways similar to this process of understanding the ego, but it was far more confrontational, less scientific and compassionate. But, then again, it was a system built for a less knowledgeable and refined generation. We used it back then, but didn’t understand it. In fact, the mechanics were never fully explained. But, the results were the same. Watching Rupert is like going through that est Training a second time, 45 years later, but this time being in the shoes of the est trainer, fully knowing the mechanics.

Thus the belief of something that is more or less then ourselfs instead of just being stable within awareness. Thanks for the share!
