Nathan White was my best friend in high school and roommate and best friend in college. Thanks for mentioning his sacrifice. I know how much he loved flying. He died doing what he loved. Although it happened a long time ago (first Desert Storm), I think about him a lot. Love you, Nathan!
Someone you may enjoy researching, raised a Catholic boy, later baptized in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints: Congressional Medal of Honor winner Lt. Col. Edward Stanley Michael. We were privileged to know him and a couple of my children were able to interview him. His widow passed last year, and they are buried locally (to Brother Bytheway).
