Bro. I spent days of my life looking at different solutions but this was hands down THE BEST. I did a light sanding and spray painted it for a buttery matte finish. I had extra left over from my desk so I installed it on my wife's new desk and she was blown away by the functional benefit AND aesthetics (which 99% of everyone else's solution fails to achieve). This cable channel paired with a power strip screwed in under the desk is dope AF. Thank you so much!!! Keep up the awesome videos!

I ordered the items listed, with the exception of the desk and spray paint, and just completed cleaning up the cables and wires on our Tresanti Adjustable Height Desks. The cable raceway is the game changer, with enough space to tuck plenty of plugs and wires and neatly run them to my devices. Thanks for taking the time to create and share this video!

@@JDIAthletics Yes, I drilled about 3 holes on the bar that is right behind the desk drawer. Helpful Info: Make sure the drawer is fully closed, so you can attach the cable raceway with enough clearance from the back of the drawer, so it continues to fully open and close properly.

To make the power cord going to your surge protector/power bar look neater, you could try the following: Wrap the cord in a tight coil around a broomstick, or piece of dowel, and tape it there overnight. The next day when you remove the tape, the cord will be coiled like a spring, and stretch and contract with the raising or lowering of the desk.

This is. By far. The best video on desk cable management ever. I've done everything in this video, and I can attest to this working really well. My only nitpick is 7:02 - those cable plastic ties do not work at all. I got those exact ones, and they fall off the desk very easily. I think the best solution is to have a taught connection to the cable raceway at the back or use multiple of those cable plastic ties for each individual cable. The rubber cable clamps at 7:22 under the desk have been a better option for me.

I did not want to drill holes into my brand new 72x30" Fully Jarvis dark bamboo desk. I hate cable management so I ended up getting a privacy skirt with CM in it and I put my surge protector and all my loose wires in the skirt and velcroed it close. I really hate CM and this is the best that I'll ever do and I'm proud of my CM because it's clamped on instead of drilled into the desktop. It works for me because I'm not that crazy about CM and I have 2 monitors and 3 computers so my wires seem to be endless. I shoved all the power bricks into the Vivo privacy skirt along with my surge protector and called it a day. I love the way it looks and for me it's a super improvement. Thanks for sharing.

Then pull the pencils out and easy peasy lemon squeezy , your'e done . Nice desk setup. Minor improvement suggestion: You could cut the cover of the cable rack in smaller pieces to be able to not relying on someone helping you putting the whole thing together. You may then take off the cover were you need to work on and keep everything in there that’s already bound up. ✌️

I have a wireless charger on my desk. I used mesh wire loom to attach all the wires for my monitors, speakers, camera, etc to the pole and arms on my desk and then ran the wires underneath. I really like the race way you used. I thought about attaching on to the back on my standing desk leg to run the power strip wire down.

Awesome desk but I would like to note that Husky sells manual crank standing desks/work benches starting at a fraction of the cost at $179.00. I've read many reviews and watched a lot of videos and they all get really great reviews and look very similar to this desk that is around $1,600 CAD.

I got 30 pound mounting tape for the raceways, the power block for my monitor, and the power strip. It was REALLY hard to pull them off when I returned the desk for being poor quality lol....The cable management was beautiful, the desk was a piece of crap. Now I have a butcher block, but don't want to screw the raceways into the wood. I don't think the adhesive will work because of the shiny finish on the desktop. Going fishing for ideas again, but your video was super helpful on my first project.

I implemented your solution on my new sit stand desk last week and it turned out excellently! Thanks for the suggestions. I did buy a 3x3 raceway instead and it can hold two giant power bricks pretty well. I'm going to run with it as is for now, but will consider taking them out and sticking them in a parallel raceway in front of the current one so that they can sit in a separate cubby away from the other cords in the raceway. I do have an extra 2 foot piece of raceway that I can use. Love the clean look under my desk now!
    Thanks again!
